Found this place on google I'm from Arkansas & I've been searching for a place here in Texas with some good fried catfish for a reasonable price. I was willing to drive anywhere to get some good fried catfish. I live in Keller so there were no good reviewed places near me. Basically I had to go to the hood lol. No problem for me I was craving catfish that bad. I had the option between this place and flying fish which was closer but this place had better reviews so i went for it. I drove 40 minutes down 35 and 35 minutes back. I ordered my food while i was driving I was 20 minutes away according to my GPS. When i arrived i was greeted i paid $30.73 & the lady told me it would be a few more minutes for the fish i sat down for 7 minutes and my food was ready. No sauce was placed in with the meal ketchup hotsauce onions mustard nothing. I made it home opened my food and was disappointed with my findings. I ordered two 8 fish strip combos and a 10 piece hot wings half lemon pepper half garlic parmesan. The fish where the same size as the dried crinkled fries not meaty at all. The chicken had so many feathers on it ir made me sick to my stomach looking at it. I couldn't make out which chicken was garlic parm or lemon pepper it looked like regular fried chicken. The fish doesn't taste like catfish it taste more like swai. I am very disappointed and unhappy that i wasted all that time and $30. My huaband ate two chicken wings and a few of the fish strips cause he eats anything and didn't want it to go to waste. But he even stopped eating was like AW hell Naw.lol I guess I'll chop that $30 up as a lost. I posted pictures of our...
Read moreThis was our first visit to KC. There was a sign on the door stating masks must be worn unless consuming food or beverages. I saw two customers waiting at table for their take-out food without masks. The sign is obviously not enforced.
Further, the young woman who took our order had her mask down below her chin. I noticed the manager was correctly masked, and I thanked him for that.
They were very busy, and their food was good, but a bit pricey.
I politely asked the cashier to raise her mask, to which I got no response, but a sullen look.
After eating, I spoke with the manager. He said, "We do our best, and she raised her mask." I replied, "Not in the 30 minutes we've been here she hasn't."
I told him it was important to me that masks were worn. We actually chose this place because of a Facebook page called Fort Worth Safe Shopping and Dining that had said everyone working there were masked accordingly. Sadly, this was not true of our visit.
He seemed more concerned with getting me out of his restaurant than listening to my concern. I felt like he brushed me off. Customer service severely lacking.
We won't be back, and I told him why, and that I was disappointed he couldn't get his employee in compliance.
It won't hurt their business. Most folk don't care about masks. But if you do care, don't go to Krispy Catfish. They don't care enough about you to help...
Read moreTerrible. Plain and simple. And it’s really sad to say this because I use to look forward to every chance I got to go here. But me and my wife just went and I should have trusted my gut, from the time we walked in I started considering eating somewhere else just didn’t know why at the time. Definitely understaffed, the same guy I had to wait for to take my order kept stopping to answer the phones, my fish was crispy outside but more like mush on the inside way overdone or not fresh but I’m hoping it was the first one. And to top it all off everyone in the lobby got to witness as these young males (employees) argued with a customer over a miscommunication she obviously hadn’t paid for anything just didn’t understand when they were telling her but the way the handled it was way out of line yelling and slamming kitchen doors smh. I will never be returning to this circus and will be sure to tell everyone I’ve bragged to about this place it’s turned into a joke of an establishment. At this rate wouldn’t be surprised if they’re closed in the...
