Lisa's Chicken — Restaurant in Fort Worth

I have never had any issues with this Lisa’s. However, we ordered through their little drive thru our order the person who took our order told us to pull up to the front and it should be about 10 minutes give or take. This was around 6:50 pm. We are still waiting in our car we see other vehicles get their orders before us but we aren’t worried about it. Then it’s 7:15 pm and I get off to see what’s going on with our order. I tell the lady my order. Not sure if they forgot about us or gave our order to a different vehicle. And I see all their faces like holy shit because they either forgot or gave someone our order. They tell me to wait again for the order that we placed at 6:50 pm. At this point I’m upset and really want to go off on someone or just be petty. But that is not my nature. I wait again because I’ve been there already so why not wait some more. But of course I wait inside so they remember my face and can give me my food. Didn’t get our order until after 7:30pm.

I been in Forth Worth a whole month . I had been seen this place but I honestly never thought it would be much. But we have grown tired of the surrounding restraunts near us and figured we would give this place a shot . Honestly we were both really DISAPPOINTED . Disappointed that we had not come sooner! Especially since we are going back to Houston to live. I know where we will be eating till we leave back lol. I just wanna stay the staff are very welcoming and the food was very tasty! I got the #3 $5.99 and my husband the #2 $5.69 (I think) and two large fountain drinks for 99cents. It's a whole lot of food for a cheap price. Very filling I had to take a box to go lol. This Lisa's is a basic fried fish and chicken place that also has a cooler with soft drinks. There is seating at tables for approximately 30 people. I had 1 dozen fried gizzards with a medium white gravy for dipping , a medium order of French fries , a 2 piece catfish fillet and a medium fountain drink for $18 and change. The gizzards were on point. The catfish was sizzling and crispy. The crinkle cut fries were hot , crispy and fluffy on the inside. The place isn't much to look at but the food is as it should be. 2 things that stood out for me were the clean well bussed tables and the fact the food was not over salted.
