This is a relatively new coffee shop on Race Street that focuses on specialty coffee and has some food options as well (bagels, sausage kolaches). Cute little building with a friendly staff. The espresso drinks we ordered (1 latte with whole milk, 1 latte with oat milk) were just alright. Nothing special.
As an aside, it seems like part of their focus is people spending time with one another. As such, they don't provide public wifi for customers. This is a fine decision to make as an establishment, but we witnessed them explain to someone with a laptop inquiring about the wifi the reasons for not doing so ("We want people to make connections." "We want to foster more real interactions.") and it came across as a little patronizing. I think most people will respond just fine if you just leave it to "We don't offer public wifi. Sorry!"

Read moreLocal coffee shop. I walk here almost daily. Seasonal offering make for a good change of pace from your regular latte. Priced competitively. For Fall try the Sweater Weather. For Spring try the Purple Rain. The Apple Spice pop tart will bring you back if nothing else does. Another favorite is the Honey Buddy that has sliced apples and honey butter on toasted sourdough with a splash of cinnamon and sugar on top. Scones are always good. The patio area is charming and offer seasonal spaces to sit and enjoy conversation. The safe is exceptionally knowledgeable about coffee and can help with selections. The second thing is they did not have almond milk. I was told they have oat milk and when I asked if they possibly had soy, it was repeated quite strongly that they have Oat. Milk. Only. (which I think was uncalled for). The coffee was actually quite good even with the "oat-milk-only" but definitely not my preference. I will probably try this coffee shop again simply because the cookie was outstanding but next time I'll get...
