Latest update: District manager Javier contacted me and apologized and is speaking with this manager and location. I gave McDs back a few stars for calling back. We will see what occurs next at this location...
UPDATE : Have left message with local store and district office with name and number - no message back... from either
Original review: I have given this McDonalds numerous chances to redeem themselves.
Normally they just get every order wrong and you deal with it as politely as possible... and this happens here as a rule.
But here was my last saga... from a restaurant that is supposed to be all about convenience right?
On Saturday May 4th at 12:02 PM (three days ago) I ordered the food on the reciept in picture.
As always at this store, you are asked to pull forward... this to advance their statistics of how fast they take care of customers... which again is not really about the customer who has just paid them money... but to give a false read on customer care.
After waiting an abnormally long time at any MC DS ... around 16 minutes .. Some food comes out but not all of it...
I wait several more minutes thinking the rest is sure to come
I get out and walk to the restaurant explaining I hadn't gotten the shake I had ordered . The lady looked at me and said ok...
I waited several more minutes and walked to the dive up window and explained that i still had not received it and am still waiting for it... the manager replied with a puzzled look you ordered a shake?
I get in my car and drive down the road and call back because i was now late to a meeting.
The manager quickly apologized and said yes we see your order and I don't know why they even took that order because our shake machine has been down all day... she said she knew who took it and had spoken to them. She asked my name and I told her
She said just come in when you can and we will replace the whole order. I knew she had the right person and order because she repeated my order perfectly.
So at that point I thanked her and asked her if she needed my last name or anything she said no that my first name was all she needed and that would be good enough.
So flash forward to today three days later... I go out of my way Claudia the manager is extremely stern and curt. Basically calling me a liar with out saying the words. In an accusatory tone who was the manager? Oh you said it was two days not three... no one would make that promise to you because we have a 24 hour rule... and you have to have the receipt and have the manger sign their name on it... etc etc etc
I asked for a managers number ... no ... district manager... no she gave me a number to call .... I called it and she answered it... oh my... I asked how I could leave a message for her supervisor or anyone above her and she said " with me "... oh my...
So needless to say this was my only way to possibly get a district managers attention... as to what is going on.
As much as I have wanted to think of others ... pulling forward and off into one of their spots is not about others.. it's about them... and does not get you faster or better service and clearly is not valued by McDonalds management
It may be time to start a movement and just say no to McDonalds and make them serve you in order and let everyone check their bag before they pull forward...
It would force McDonalds to take care of their customers and avoid all this.
By the way it wasn't just a wrong order... I paid for a product I never recieved... And Claudia the manager refused to honor what that manager said she would do... and didn't even give me the part they have never given me ... it may not seem like much but it just sits so wrong that the net effect is that they actually stole...
Read moreUpon arrival at this establishment I was greeted at the drive through window by Jaeqelyn- (the manager on duty) in an abrupt and rude manner. While ordering my meal I was interrupted twice to be told that menu items were unavailable at that time, I felt immeadiately uncomfortable with her tone as well as her abrupt and seemingly short tolerance. After getting to the designated window I then gave my credit card to a young man, who was struggling to process the payment, he started speaking loudly (I assume in an attempt for assistance) announcing that “this card don’t work” the manager Jacquelyn then came over and attempted to assist him. After swiping my card I was told, with no decisive explanation that the card didn’t work- The card was not declined, which was established when I asked if the processor had given some sort of error message- the shift manager then told me that my card was not “valid” and that they wouldn’t be accepting my payment. Feeling embarrassed, (this is a first, and hopefully last time) I had experienced that response. When I asked if they would try entering the payment in another form (manually) I was laughed at by the “manager” Jacquelyn. She began to shake her head at me and firmly stated that the problem is not “her issue” . Neither individual bothered to ask if I had another form of payment, I was spoken down to, called what I felt to be inappropriate and condescending pet names (baby, sweetie etc) and when I asked for the information to get in touch with the owner of this location, and the managers information, I asked that I not be called these names- Jacquelyn proceeded to continue calling me “sweetie” in a taunting tone after I had stated it felt offensive. And walked off to scribble information down. Pausing only to turn and call me one more condescending pet name- I then provided an alternative form of payment (again, without being asked if I had one) When I offered my debit card, the window was pushed shut and I had to announce to the person inside (busy laughing and chatting with the manager) that I would still like to have my daughters chicken nugget meal. When the payment went through I was given my meal and the window was abruptly shut again. I then asked for my receipt and the owners name. I was then handed my receipt with the name Jacquelyn written on it. I said thank you and drove away. This experience has been far and away the most unprofessional and poorest example of customer service I have experienced. This individual (Jacquelyn) Is unprepared, and lacks the respect and kindness required to thrive in a service based industry. She has proven to be a very poor representation of not only a person in management in a consumer based industry , but importantly- McDonald’s , I sincerely hope that the owner of this franchise will choose to be more mindful in selecting individuals to provide service...
Read moreSo I reviewed this place 6 months ago with a 3 star review, I've been since then subjected to ridiculous and questionable treatment, fist off let me state the facts, I went there today and was told I HAVE to use the Kiosk, and after refusing to use a machine I neither know how to use nor do I care to use decided it would be better to just go through the drive through where a real person can take my order. After talking to a manager in drive through I was lied to by her about meat always being cooked to order (they use warming trays to hold the meat before serving) and told that the franchise owners are demanding they make their customers use the kiosk and that if I didn't want to do that that the lady behind the counter ter doing nothing at all would be happy to type the keys in for me... Now I will give you my guess what's going on. McDonald's corporate is probably doing a study on what places make use of the kiosk and is grading the stores accordingly. Here's my problem. I can order food online ANYWHERE. If I wanted to order food from a machine I would use my phone. I wanted to talk to a real person and feel like a real person really ordering food. Kiosk ordering is NOT a requirement from McDonald's as of yet this particular franchise just wants to look good. I'm through with this store and have change my rating to 1 star good luck if you decide to try this place. BTW my "Fresh" meat was cold and nasty
Original review *'' This place is touch and go. Most the time there's a long line and they push you along like cattle. Food can be good if your lucky and catch it fresh or after they change the grease. But most the time it's bland,...
