Went to Mickie Ds to order shakes, sundaes, and frapuccinos for the family. I ordered a chocolate sundae and was extremely disappointed with the quality - I guess the end result of what I got. It has been a few months since I have ordered a sundae but it seems to me that the sundae containers were a little bit bigger that what I got. But I guess that is okay. Every where you go nowadays ... you pay more for less.
But that wasn't my problem with this sundae. If you google "mcdonalds chocolate sundae you will see a picture of ice cream filled to the lower rim of the cup's lip and then it twirls into a pyramid all the way to the top of the cover.
What I got was ice cream filled barely to the lower rim of the lip of the cup and that is it. No triangle twirl to the top of cover. As it is, it looks like the cup is smaller than what I remember, but when they short change you on the amount of ice cream that is added to the cup - well that is a different story.
In my teenage years I used to work for McDonalds for at least four years and management taught us to give the best possible service to customers. I enjoyed making the ice cream cones/sundaes and competed with my co-workers to see who would make the best ice cream cones/sundaes... sort of like the ones advertised in Dairy Queen.
But these days, management doesn't seem to care. Either they don't care about the quality they provide the customer or they don't teach their employees how to make their products correct.
I challenge a manager at this store to google a picture of their sundaes and reply to this post to see if it shows a sundae only filled to the lower rim of the cup.
Be proud of where you work and if not go find another job where you don't have to deal with customer service because it was not obviously given to me on this occasion.
Next time I want a sundae I will much rather go to Sonic or Dairy Queen.
p.s. Went through drive-thru and left since I had family with me. Did not want to go back and teach management how to make a sundae.
p.s.2 I just noticed that I can add photos to the review. I will give them one more opportunity in the near future and post a picture of the end product to see if Mickie Ds after seeing this review cares about...

I am extremely disappointed with the ongoing lack of attention to detail and poor customer service at this McDonald’s location. Time and again, my orders are incorrect—most recently, my ticket clearly indicated no bacon, and yet bacon was still added. This not only shows a lack of care in food preparation but also a disregard for customer preferences, which can sometimes be related to dietary restrictions or religious reasons.
It’s unacceptable to consistently wait an extended amount of time for an order, only to receive something incorrect. As a working professional, I do not have the luxury of turning around en route to work to have an order corrected. The expectation shouldn’t fall on customers to thoroughly inspect their food before leaving the drive-thru window; that responsibility lies with both the person preparing the meal and the one handing it out.
This lack of accountability reflects poor management and training. Something must be done to improve the standards at this location. At the very least, I am owed more than a free meal—I deserve accurate service, respect for my time, and a team that takes pride in doing their job correctly.
I hope corporate and management take this feedback seriously and implement immediate changes to ensure better service and accountability...
Read moreIf I could give it less than one star I would. Horrible service from staff and management. Got home and started eating my fries and saw a cooked BUG sitting in my food. Immediately called them and told them about it and the manager was less than worried about the fact I was upset. Got to the store and he showed no emotion toward the bug in the food and walked away to go find my receipt (because I was failed to get on from the employee who gets paid $10) came back and gave me my refund.. did not offer to remake my food for me or even apologize. One of the employees was there and heard about what happened, he took it the fries from the heater and turned off the light- the manager saw it and he came right behind him and turned the light back on.The managers name was Natanael. We got to the car and my mom said she was going to go inside and get the name of the owner of the store and Nataneal tried to tell her that it was a franchise- in which she replied she used to work at a McDonald's back when she was younger and she KNOWS there is an owner of each store. Finally gave her the name and she asked him for the number and he told her he didn't know the number. We got the number and WILL be calling the owner and we WILL be called health department on them. This is absolutely disgusting. Definitely will not be returning to...
