When looking for a place to stay I spend a fair amount of time and effort choosing an accommodation that will fit my needs. I have stayed here multiple times and each time the reason I have stayed at this hotel wasn’t that it was the fanciest, nor the cheapest, but that they had a particular room type available. I did not book using discount codes or points. When I pay “rack rates” I expect to receive the room type that I am paying for. A few days before our travel I double-checked to be sure our room at this hotel was still correct on the reservation and indeed it was. On the day of our arrival, I completed early check-in as invited to on their app and received the message that the room was ready. After a long day of travel, I arrived at the hotel where I was told that the room was not ready, I could not yet check-in, and they were in the process of cleaning. I waited in the lobby until they said I was able to check-in. I checked in and received my keys. I was aware that I was being placed on a different floor than the multiple other times I had stayed here, but assumed they had multiples of the room type. Upon entering, I discovered I’d been placed in a different room type than I had reserved so I returned to the front desk. I was then told that the room I had reserved and paid for was unavailable and that they had to place me somewhere else. I had booked the room more than a month in advance. At some point in the conversation between customer service people, I overheard someone in the hotel owner’s group had arrived, and I had been downgraded so they could have the room. The front desk did all they could to accommodate me and I am not faulting them. That being said, a simple phone call or email would have avoided this review. I would have found other accommodations where my room needs could have been met. Instead, at the late hour of the afternoon when I arrived, I had no time to make other arrangements for the night and had to take the downgrade. So instead of my planned day of relaxation before more travel, I checked out the next morning and moved to another hotel that accommodated my needs. I’ve also canceled my already booked next stay at this hotel and will not be returning. I do not wish to spend any more with a group that obviously does not value...

Worst hotel experience of my life. Checked in on a Tuesday evening and awoke to pounding on the door Thursday morning followed by “if your don’t open the door”…. I proceeded to open the door accompanied by two hotel staff members and a Fort Worth Police officer. I said they must have the wrong room and they were not amused. Questioned who I was and why I was in the room? Evidently there was a “glitch” in the hotel computer system and they did not have us checked in or assigned to the room. Barely got an apology from the guys and received a phone call from the front desk shortly there after. So, you checked in yesterday? No, I checked in Tuesday!!!! The staff had no idea what was going on!!! Please explain to me why they could not have previously called the room? No attempt was made to call the room and ask for my information…they just sent the WRECKING CREW up who had no clue what was going on!!! As I walked out for the day, I asked to please make sure they had me in the system, they assured me they did. That evening when I was returned, I was locked out of the room and me keys had been deactivated!!!! Hotel staff still had no clue what was going on! I asked to have the hotel manager contact me…NEVER received a call. Our room was not cleaned until the last day, even though I had previously requested to have it cleaned. Still waiting for a proper apology and call from the...

We recently had the pleasure of working with the Hyatt Place Fort Worth/TCU for an event coordinated by Any Event Productions, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience.

From the moment we arrived, the staff at the Hyatt Fort Worth/TCU demonstrated exceptional professionalism and hospitality. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met, making us feel welcome and valued. Their friendliness and attentiveness made the entire setup process smooth and stress-free.

A special thanks to the event coordinator, whose organization and communication were top-notch. Their proactive approach allowed us to set up early, which was immensely helpful and greatly appreciated. This level of cooperation ensured that our event ran seamlessly and was a huge success.

The hotel itself is a fantastic venue. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, providing a perfect backdrop for any event. The ambiance and amenities contributed significantly to the overall positive experience.

Thank you, Hyatt Fort Worth/TCU, for your outstanding service and for treating Any Event Productions with such care and consideration. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you again in the future.

Best regards,

The Any Event...

Many other folks have already recommended this hotel as a great place to stay. I'd like to recommend it as a great place to have your special event! As a Texas DJ, lighting, and photobooth company, we work all over the Metroplex area at all sorts of event venues. Hyatt Place TCU is relatively new on the scene, but it's great for parties! We've already done a sweet 16 and an anniversary party there, and both were fantastic. I credit much of the success to the event staff, and in particular Jessie Cole, who is the sales and catering manager for the hotel. She runs a superb team there, and you're guaranteed a great experience collaborating with them. My staff and I have found Jessie and her group very friendly, knowledgeable, and highly attentive. You can tell they take pride in doing a great job, which isn't always the case in other venues. The hotel also has some really cool options as far as spots to hang out and grab a drink, a quick bite, or even hit some golf balls (check out Lot 12 up on the roof while you're there). Book your event at Hyatt Place TCU, and you can even have your whole group stay on site to spend the night. Tell them GDG sent ya!

For being on a college campus, this is By Far the CLEANEST hotels that I have stayed in. We got into Texas at 7:30 a.m. and arrived at the hotel about 10:30 even though check in was until 4 as we didn't want to carry our luggage around until check-in. To our Big surprise, they allowed us to check-in that early as our room was actually ready. Our room smelled like a brand new room and was SPOTLESS!!!!! Now the front desk girls. Those girls at the front desk are the NICEST, POLITE, and HELPFUL staff that I have EVER experienced in my 30 years of traveling. Alex on the morning shift and Amy on the evening shift are 2 that I would Love to give a Big Thank You for making our stay so very ENJOYABLE. Now the rooftop bar "Lot 12" is just as clean and BEAUTIFUL as the rest of the hotel with a Wonderful staff and a Thank you to the Bar Manager for the Great conversation.

New and clean! The service is good and is walking distance from TCU. They offer overnight parking and the view is nice from the room. WARNING: The 2 queen beds option is bigger than the king bed option, and they’re the same price. Go with the queen beds! The bathroom has a big shower and no bath and has a tv with a good amount of channels. I paid around $230 with tax, I would definitely recommend staying here.
