This review has nothing to do with this location. While I experienced it at this location, they are not to blame.
Recently prices increased considerably because of inflation, a black grande cold brew is like just at $5, way more than central market, QT, and even local coffee shops. That’s the price of convenience, ok I can accept that. If I don’t like it I can go elsewhere, right?
But what infuriates me is having to pay your staffs wages in tandem. The barista holds a digital pad in my face staring at me showing me I need to tip. What am I going to do? Not tip the people making my drink out of my eye sight, yeah right. And, it’s not 15%, 20%, 25% like most places. It’s $1, $2, or $3. Sure you can go custom and tip less but let’s all be real with ourselves, the social pressure is too much. So of course I tip $1. So my cup of kinda good coffee is now $6. It’s not a lot in each incident but coffee is a daily purchase for me.
Same caffeine uptake and relative taste at qt for $1.99 and no tip REQUIRED. That’s $960 additional annually if you buy coffee daily. That’s ~1% of a $100k job just for perspective.
I have no issues tipping those that help me. However the Starbucks CEO makes $20.4 million annually. Take $15million of that and give it to the baristas and they could all earn six figures. And that greedy CEO would still make $5.4 million annually. Who needs anything more than that. This is coming from a Republican, so you know it’s getting dire. Large ceo salaries are acceptable only after employees are paid a fair wage and your prices are fair and competitive. This is what greed looks like!!!! Why am I paying your people? Why? That’s your job.
We see you Starbucks. I say no more! I’m done...
Read moreI've been in twice, first time was a pretty good experience but this morning it was quite the opposite. I called later to give feedback but all I got was the floor supervisor being defensive and even talking over me. His excuse as to why the barrista was annoyed, rude and unapproachable was because she was a high school kid and is not used to waking up early.. really? So basically it's totally excusable for that kind of customer service because of that? He handled the whole conversation wrong and made every excuse in the book backing up their behavior, literally.. He's definitely got to work on his people skills as well. You guys are the first interaction of the day for a lot of people and that is not the way you want to start someone's day! Negative, poor service and I didn't even want to ask the girl if she even made sure to add my third shot she was that annoyed. What a total bummer and unfortunately I don't think I want to experience that again by going back.. yikes! Again, you all are the very first interaction of...
Read moreGot into drive thru with two cars ahead of us. NINETEEN minutes later we got to the window and were handed a now-cold cookie and drink. Before taking the cookie from the gentleman, I asked is that still hot? He said yes. He handed it to me and it was as cold as it had just come out of the case. I handed it back and said we wanted it warmed and we’ve been waiting long enough to have that. He said hold on, shut the window and launched the cookie into the trashcan. There was never any apology or explanation for the excessively long wait. There was no thank you for visiting our store, nothing except handing me the new cookie with the drink. I asked for two napkins for my child, I received about 60. I took two and handed him the rest back. He seemed annoyed, I can’t imagine why it’s not like he was late for something. Typically, I avoid this location like the plague because they always seem to have problems with their service, but it was the closest one and we decided to give it another try. Won’t make that...
