Update: 07/19/25
Server: Ramiro✨
Here I am again... almost a year later && Ramiro served my party for lunch and we had a GREAT time! Ramiro was helpful with explaining things on the menu and being attentive with refills and other needs! Great CLEAN atmosphere with helpful staff!
Me and girlfriend of mine came here on a whim. It's about a 30mins drive from my house, Duncanville, and we are planning a trip BACK! The door was amazing but h the r staff was phenomenal. I'm not the biggest ramen fan, I prefer Udon, but when I tell you.. their broth, their noodles... the meat.. literally cooked to perfection. That meat was MELTING in my mouth. The ramen I got was the Tonkotsu, for reference. My friend got the Veggie Ramen. She cleaned her bowl.
The food was amazing, but their staff was so awesome. We sat at the bar in front of the cooks and it was really cool to see them cook everything in front of us. One of the guys initiated a conversation and was explaining what one of the cooks were preparing. It sparked us to ask questions about our food and even other items on the menu. They were very knowledgeable and very kind to two girls who aren't very familiar with most of the things on the menu.
Even the to the hostess. I got really overwhelmed getting inside, unrelated to the restaurant, while being directed to our seat and filling out the parking information (free parking for 2 hours btw) and trying to take in the atmosphere around me. She gave us some space and came back to check on us, for some reason I was struggling signing in for parking, and she came to help. She wasn't with us long before our server took over but she helped me so much.
I can't say how awesome they were enough! Thank you to this team! Front of house, back of house, and...
Read moreNow, this restaurant, was outstanding. I have traveled all over and the only unacceptable thing that I can say is the parking. But in regards to the restaurant itself, the food was absolutely amazing. If you try anything that is very interesting, which is the chicken hearts, that are smoked grilled starters. Were absolutely amazing. If you wanna try something new, please try those. And there is a chicken dish that is a starter. The sauce for the chicken starter was amazing. I could not guess what it was. And had to ask the server/ bartender. I tried. A bowl for my entree, they were out of the pork that was in it, and also the broth, and I was just a slightly disappointed. But the server was very helpful, and we added some chopped bacon, and I added shiitake mushrooms, and they gave me a pork broth. But I wanted to try the original way, I would have been able to give a better review if I would have gotten what I wanted. But the young lady that served me in the outside bar, she was very kind very helpful and I love this place if and when or ever. I'm back in fort worth, texas. I will definitely go back to this place. Just remember when you're parking out front that you have to scan a qr code, and it is eleven something dollars to park there. But I was very happy that my friend who invited me to fort worth. And he recommended restaurant and he was absolutely correct. I cannot say enough about this restaurant. The food was amazing. And that made the...

Since the review was published, Amanda, the manager did reach out to me for an explanation and we had a very productive discussion to ensure that the regrettable incident doesn't happen again. I have been back to Wabi House since then and it was amazing as usual. I will go back with my family soon and hope they do not disappoint.
Original Review:
Usually our go to place for Ramen. But unfortunately not a place to go if you have a big party (more than 5). Tatum, the hostess was unfortunately not at all accommodating and quite honestly condescending. For someone who has consistently been to Wabi House for more than 10 years as it is close to downtown Fort Worth, I decided to take my family here and it was a big mistake. There were multiple tables available to sit people but not 6 together and we were willing to split as well, yet apparently the hostess felt it was not her personal policy to split and put us on a waiting list for 1hr 30 mins. Not sure why the hostess would care how we sit. We would have still ordered the same amount of food and in reality probably more and would have definitely left a more than generous tip as well. Obviously, I took my family to Teddy Wongs just down the street. They not only have really good food but also very friendly staff and hostess.
Unfortunately, Wabi House is being sabotaged by a thoughtless and rude hostess. For large family, stay away...
