Young M's Eatery — Restaurant in Fort Worth

The food here was good until one of the meat pies had an inedible plastic tip inside of it (from the sausage casing). I called the restaurant and quickly recieved an apology and they claimed that they would "comp" my meal.

You would think that a business would want to avoid negative press by quickly resolving the issue but instead, almost a week in I was told by UberEats that the business hasn't submitted anything nor mentioned anything about how they almost made me consume literal garbage. I'm sure ingesting plastic can cause someone to get very ill.

I am dissapointed in this place because the food is good, and I understand mistakes happen - BUT pretending like something never happened and even going further by lying to a customer about supposed actions the business is taking and then not keeping your word is terrible.

I'm just glad I never actually consumed that trash since I may have even ended up in a hospital. Eat here at your own risk.

If you find inedible material in your food, directly report it to the app you are using instead of being given false promises. On top of that, the business could have tried to lure me back with a meal or something else but instead their inaction demonstrated to me that they do not care about...

So so so good! Salad was huge. Also got fried chicken, Mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Very good portion sizes and you’re full before you even realize it. Surprised I’ve never eaten here before. Everything was packaged really nicely, even had anti contamination seals on everything and the package was stapled closed to avoid spilling. I wanted to take pictures but as soon as I opened it i started eating instantly. Definitely enough to have leftovers...

Wanted to try this place found them on Google. Went to the location, turns out it’s a ghost kitchen, not an actual restaurant. You place an order and then wait for it. Unfortunately they told me it would be an hour wait so I had to cancel the order. Highly suggest calling ahead to order & then go pick up. They should definitely put the wait time on the menu otherwise it’s false advertisement...
