CAFÉ KAZKA — Restaurant in Foster City

I’ve ordered Kazka from foster city farmer market several times, I really like the HK style milk tea. Since March this year I noticed Kazka will open a restaurant in Edgewater plaza, it has been in construction for a really long time and now finally it entered into soft open stage. I stopped by today and ordered a Satay beef noodle soup to go. The beef is tender and it has a good synergy with the peanut & coconut flavor from satay sauce. The noodle is still in good condition when I got home after adding in the hot soup, which means it’s not overcooked in the kitchen. We had a great meal and I enjoyed it a lot. We tried some new dishes and they were great. The tom yum noodles were fantastic, nicely flavored and I loved the sauce. The fried shrimp were a great addition, a nice upgrade to the tom yum noodles.

The char siu was solid, though the meat could have been more tender and fatty. I love it when they use pork belly and it melts. The milk tea was good. We had it with 50% sweetness but think that 75% would be optimal. We finished off the meal with egg tarts and they were fantastic, perfectly flaky with many layers. We would get the cheesy pasta next time instead of char siu. Very good...

MANAGEMENT please. I can feel the frustration and stress your front desk has to go through during rush hour. Everyone just come up and yell at them and asking where is their food. I understand the "make to order" but there's gonna be a better way /implementation for this place . People waited more than an hour for one dish/ your Togo system is a complete chaos. HongKong style food suppose to be fast&tasty and I respect your take to put in some styling in it but until a better system of dining experience show up I will not wait 50+ mins for fishball and a milktea (the milktea has a weird sour...
