🌟 GOOD VALUE, LOTS OF CHOICES - Get there by 7pm! 🌟

✔️ Good value, excellent presentation & warm environment - for a strip mall location. ✔️ Purchased a variety of pastries & desserts, all very fresh tasting. ✔️ The selection is fantastic & I would encourage visitors to try things out of their normal tastes. I am picky, but found almost every item to be delicious and had a real homemade tasty. ✔️ I spent several years shopping bakeries in the area and found many places with amazing variety and quality. I would rank this store in the top 5 of all the bakeries I have ever frequented. ✔️ Better flavor then Costco & Sam's Club bakeries - tastes fresh not preserved or frozen. ✔️ Get there by 7pm for more selection, we arrived at 9pm to find limited selection. I have tried their breads before at a friends house & this led me to visit this location....happy I did. ✔️ Prices are fair & on par with local grocery store bakeries. ✔️ I am not a huge fan of do-it-yourself a la carte with trays, mostly because customers can be less than sanitary and touching everything they touch is not ideal. Overall it is not a deal breaker, the desserts are handled by the staff, breads are accessible similarly to local grocery store do-it-yourself displays. ✔️ Employees are friendly, professional & eager to help which is nice. We visited the Fountain Valley store, I can't speak to the other locations. ✔️ The desserts were very good, the cakes were amazingly delicate & light in texture which surprised me. The breads were delicious & in some cases more flavorful than certain desserts.

OVERALL :: GREAT PLACE TO VISIT & I WILL RETURN...PROBABLY BEFORE 8pm NEXT TIME SO I CAN HAVE ACCESS TO MORE SELECTION.

2025 what a rip off they have shrinked the size of their bread by HALF yet you are still paying the same . They are hoping people wont notice .not sure if its corporate or just this location but im extremely disappointed . Its not worth it anymore. The milk buns are microscopic / sample size now. Parking is too small and get full easily especially at peak hours and week end.very inconvinient .not the best location. The store itself is relatively small compare to other 85 with limited choices. clean and fully renovated inside .the line isnt horrible like some other locations that wrap around the store. Their coffee is meh ( mainly ice barely any coffee) unless you order hot coffee but its loaded with sugar and the large cake not that great ( think sponge cakes but covered with either chocolate or fruits )they all taste about the same no matter what flavor you buy. They try to get you with new flavors but its disappointing non the least. For birthday cake i would recommend going to an authentic french bakery instead for real cakes. The asian style pastries are affordable though a little dry 2 to 4$ ish . I love that they display the calories for each pastries . The square bread are meh nothing extraordinary .They tend to sell out fast very fast which is super annoying by 6 pm best of luck finding any bread.there are times i walk in walk out cuz there is nothing left ... depending what time you go during the day they may not have much pastries left so if you work regular hours and want to pick up something sweet after work , you will have a very slim pick .they know the demand is HIGH but never make enough to meet the demand which is frustrating. went to this location early today and was given perfect customer service. the associate who helped me wasn't wearing a name tag but I'm sure I wasn't checking properly but he helped me in the unimaginable, I had some gift cards that were given to me for Christmas and wanted to get some coffee and snacks. for some reason the card wasn't going through even though they haven't been used. he doubled checked the computer, took me to a separate kiosk to ring up the cards and alleviate the foot traffic that was arriving, processed another gift card with the amount on the first card in case it might've been a defective card. at the end the associate was very apologetic and sympathetic to the situation. he comped the meal for the inconvenience and again very apologetic and kind towards me. i don't know his name, but he had a his hair in a bun and wore a hoodie with flowers on the sleeves by the collar of the hoodies sleeve. 10/10 service and curtesy, will go...

I might be 85c Bakery's best customer. I've been there at least a thousand times. When this branch opened in my neighborhood, I couldn't be more delighted. Some people I was already familiar with work there and the service and food is top notch. I generally stick with their signature iced sea salt coffee but also enjoy the cake and bread when my calorie budget allows. The bread is baked on-site so you know it's fresh. I noticed that the largest coffee chains are attempting to copy their finest recipes. That clearly means they recognize the threat. I have samples these imposter "sea salt cream" recipes and I can assure you there is an order of magnitude between them. 85c is the scientifically proven ideal temperature to pump espresso. The beans must be quality, the cream is actually butter guys. Nothing fake here.
