Second time we ordered To Go! Never go this route. We got worst service both times. Hoped this second time would have been better. Placed order over phone cause we wanted extra dressing and dips with our onion rings. Said it be 15 - 20 minutes for pick up!! Waited ten minutes at house before going two blocks away to Islands. Called the number once arrived for pick up orders. They would call me when ready. I waited another 15 easily and she came out with food and apologized for taking so long. She said I’m busy with other orders so I apologize and she took our card to make payment came back to assure us all we requested like extra dressing for salad and the dippings for the onion rings were included she said yes all in the bag. Very confident!! Got home food cold and hamburger bun hard or crusty and burger dry. Fish tacos: Corn tortillas were hard and chewy! Old tasting. Generous fish though. Onion rings tasted chewy too like sitting too long and no spicy or regular ranch provided. I ordered a China Coast salad no dressing on salad and no extra dressing on side. No napkins or utensils. Least to say I’ll never order to go again. Lack of condiments and dry hamburger and fish tacos, no dressing for the salad and no dressing dips for onion rings. Most disappointment experience! The gal assured us “everything “ was in the bag. Even after I repeated the extra dressing and for the onion rings. Again she says yes all is there!! Or I advice don’t leave regardless if they say all is there and look through everything and feel your food. It may be cold or barely Luke warm. Strong indication...

Tonight was more disappointing than necessary. With food prices going up, the least that could be offered is decent service. We are a low maintenance of 3 but treated like we were invisible. We were in closer to 8:30pm, so it was not a busy time juggling a ridiculous amount of tables or being double sat. I've worked in the restaurant business & have always been more lenient with waiters & waitresses. It is not asking too much to be greeted & even saying I'll be right with you within a few minutes. But to have the table walked by numerous times & seeing menus down without anyone taking drink orders, even just waters or saying someone with you shortly or having hostess/host taking a drink order on a night that appeared slow is just the beginning of frustration. Getting our drink order in after quite a wait, then having them sit emptied even longer & then asking if we wanted them refilled, when we hadn't even ordered was almost comical. Finally, getting our food & even though one was "bottomless," wasn't good enough to even ask for a refill. The chicken was so dry that I asked for sour cream, which the response was, "It's in the back." When Gabe came back to say that AFTER 5 minutes, I asked for our check, knowing it'd be another 10 minutes. They sat us in a dark lit table in the back west side of restaurant by ourselves despite having so many open tables with views, decorations and entertainment. Is this because we have children? The chocolate milk spilled all over my toddlers white shirt down his face because of the lid when he drank it. After I reattached the lid it spilled on him again and my hand and sleeve. The waiter said he would bring us a new lid but first he took the tables order that was next to us while we have sticky chocolate milk all over. Finally another lid and again it spilled all over my toddler as he drank even with me holding the cup lid in place. The server looked surprised and when I asked if this has ever happened to any other children that dine here he said no. The fries were hard and overcooked and tasted liked they had been frozen. Not like we remember. The burgers tasted great except they were out of onions because of some shipment contamination. Since there were no onions they had no salsa for the tortilla chips we paid for. Everything was off. After speaking with the manager she offered us warm wet towels to wipe the chocolate milk off with....
