My first encounter with Ballard and Ballard was approximately 5 years ago when I went into the store with my daughter for her to look at engagement rings. She spoke with Glenn Ballard at the time, one of the Ballard family. Glenn spent quite a bit of time with us explaining the different styles of rings and how they might flatter her hand best; as well as explaining the 4 C's of diamonds, etc. to her. I was so impressed with their customer service and business model that I decided that I had “found” my new jewelry store.

Fast forward 5 years to last month when I decided that it was finally time to upgrade the diamond in my engagement ring from my own (somewhat unique) wedding set. I never even thought about going anywhere else but Ballard and Ballard.

I stopped in one morning and spoke with Guy Ballard. He was so welcoming and made me feel like I was a long-lost friend. In my mind, I was still exploring different cuts and sizes of diamonds, and he took the time to show me multiple options., explaining which ones would best accentuate my wedding set. I had an upcoming trip and decided I would postpone my decision until my return. Two weeks later, I came back in and Guy helped me finalize my decision with a gorgeous round stone for an outstanding price. Along the way, every single member of the team at Ballard and Ballard were the consummate professionals, and gave me input, opinions, and guidance that helped me make a confident final decision.

I can’t even begin to say how much I LOVE my "upgraded" wedding set. Guy inspected, upgraded the tiffany prong setting, and polished my original platinum and 18 kt gold settings, and the ensemble looks absolutely stunning with my new diamond. It’s everything I had ever hoped it would be, and more! I can't stop staring at it! I receive so many compliments!

Guy also serviced 4 additional pieces of my jewelry; an antique diamond watch (cleaned, polished), a diamond pendant (replaced a diamond that had fallen out), a necklace ( repaired a clasp), and my husband's wedding ring that had dropped down our garbage disposal and was badly mutilated. Guy restored my husband's band so that no one would ever know how misshapen it was….we were very happy that he was able to save it... A miracle! All four of these repairs were completed for a VERY reasonable fee.

so I started my ring hunting quest at Jarreds and that was a huge mistake... I purchased a ring on Black Friday from their online store which was valued at $1500 and I received the ring two weeks later and it was missing a stone and falling a part with a made in China sticker on it... Definitely not the quality I was looking for when purchasing my girlfriend of three years a nice ring. I then went into the store to see if they can replace it or fix it and they tried to charge me $500 to fix it. They gave me resistance when I tried to return it too. So I decided to go to Ballard and Ballard and that was the best decision I made! Glenn helped me out for an hour trying to find a similar style ring to the one my girlfriend liked from Jared! Glenn also emailed me similar rings that he found after I left which was awesome because it showed me he actually cared about making this happen for me! A couple days later I found the perfect ring and Glenn made it happen! He got me the ring in time for my anniversary even after all that bs with Jareds! The ring came in absolutely perfect and you can just see the quality right out of the gate! It also came in a nicest ring box that I have ever seen with a little light in it which makes the ring pop even more! By far my favorite jewelry store! Ballard and Ballard has that family atmosphere that I have been looking for instead of that Cain corporate feeling. They genuinely care about getting you the perfect ring with whatever your planning on spending! Their rings also come with this really awesome insurance for a year that is free and it covers replacing the ring if the ring is stolen or lost/ broken, free cleaning whenever, free check-ups on the ring, free resizing, and free resetting! After that year is up it is only like $30 a year to keep the insurance! Will 110% recommend anyone and everyone to come here for jewelry!
