Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Fountain Valley

Well this Carl’s jr. already had a bad reputation in our household due to them constantly forgetting things in our order, as well as the short girl behind the counter always being short with us. (no pun intended.) However, now I’m really irritated because my daughter recently got EBT food stamps and she wanted something quick to eat after school this evening and we went there to order. I looked it up online and it said that Carl’s Jr. in California does except EBT. However, the girl behind the counter said that they do not accept EBT. that’s fine, it would be no big deal as she obviously can’t control whether or not her store accepts EBT. however, what frustrated me was I was going to still order some thing anyway and just pay with my own money, but she walked away so quickly after rudely telling me that they do not accept EBT . I usually don’t judge a restaurant based off of a one time bad experience. however, I have now had multiple bad experiences with this particular young lady, so I will no longer be returning. Also, the lemonade and Hi-C fruit punch inside the lobby always taste like water as if they need to change out the boxes in the back that attach to the fountain system. One of the worst locations! The place looked clean but if you look closer, the tables are not wiped clean, the soda station has trash by it, they give you a miniscule amount of napkins and condiments (ketchup specifically). The bathroom (men's) smelled like dried pee. If you look at the toilet bowl, it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. Oh and yeah, there is no toilet paper in the dispenser, safe to bring your own!

The food, it's not the same as the Carl's Jr of yesteryears where the burger patties are charbroiled when you order. The patties I got seemed to have been done off-site to have grilled marks and then reheated, it was dry! The veggies were plentiful though and they prepared my order correctly!

The fries, were not fresh. It was warm but gummy in texture!

Went through the drive through last night at 8:15pm. There were no cars in front of us yet the person is charge was wearing sunglasses as he was helping us at the window. While he did remember to take our money, he proceeded to talk to his buddies who were at the counter for a good 10 minutes before I finally called over to him for our food which as it turns out was waiting for us on the counter for 5 mins. The cussing we could here from the car was not appreciated and certainly not professional and our order also turned to be wrong. I expect much from a place charging $15 for a regular combo. We attempted to call the restaurant but it is impossible to get through! I guess we will just call corporate and see if they care because this location...
