Joey’s Pizza — Restaurant in Fountain Valley

I went online to find something better than Dominoes. Boy did I ever make a bad decision. PRICE SCAM. Their online prices aren't what they charge. I was expecting to pay less than $20. Unfortunately I paid more. I asked why the prices were different than what's on the online menu. His response was "The prices online are wrong and I've told the owner but he does nothing about it". If what he said is true, I hope the owners lose their business. It's actually illegal to advertise one price and charge a higher price. When I called I asked for a medium "Works Pizza". What I received was a flimsy large pizza. I asked if that was a medium and was told it was. The truth is all specialty pizzas which "The Works" is considered and are all large pizzas. If I would have been told that when I ordered I would have changed my order. The place was a mess. Food crumbs on the tables, chairs and floors. Also the pizza maker didn't wear gloves handling toppings. I'm thinking of calling my bank in the morning and canceling my transaction. Reason?...

Amazing pizza!! So delicious and cheesy. Like commercial style cheese that stretches with each bite.

The crust is soft and yet the pizza bottom has a crunch. I mostly get plain cheese or pepperoni, so personally my opinion is limited.

My friend tends to get their pizza slice super loaded and they absolutely love it!

Every time I go to Savers, I try to stop by after and it is a perfect end to a day of scavenging.

They have various specials, can't recall them verbatim from the top of my head, but I tend to get 2 slices and a soda with (what I assume) unlimited refills.

If you are a sports fan, you will love this place. All staff I have encountered are all male. They tend to have various sports playing on the TV every time I stop by..

They serve you immediately and are pleasant and courteous.

This place deserves more than 5 stars,...

Joey's Pizza is the absolute best pizza you will ever have outside of New York City. I've had many, many great pizzas in California, id like to believe that I make an okay pizza myself, but this establishment far and above, blows everything else I've had on the west coast away.

My friends and I routinely purchase at this place, despite living the stronger portion of 40 minutes away, and we've never regretted it.

On a side note, I've seen the owner on two occasions cut special deals, one for a destitute people and one for a kid who was a little short in the pocket. I dont know if that's something he's keen to advertise as a businessman, but as a person I find that attitude and behavior extremely commendable and while I'm sure his business is doing well I think people should know what quality of human...
