Poor customer service and lack of leadership. While visiting an ill family member at Kino hospital we picked up lunch at this location. We thought the dispatcher taking the order was in a rush because she would repeat our order quickly and end w thats it. Normally we hear this but the communication came across like we were being rushed, on her time. When we arrived to the window we attempted to use coupons, when the older lady explained she needed these in the beginning we replied it was our first time trying coupons. At the end of this story you will read why we will not use coupons or visit this location. She cancelled our order and only gave us the burgers for which the coupons were for, we replied we want to keep the orignal order and apply these coupons. She was frustrated and asked us to come inside, we had a baby in the back and it was not possible at the moment. Her manager, Richard, attemped to use the coupons we had and the total was over 4 dollars more. I replied, shouldn't the coupons decrease a total rather then increase. The manager ripped out the receipt and put it in my face and asked me which order do I want to take off..in the background the older lady was seen pulling burgers from our bags and placing them back in her tray. I asked why is she putting them back, I need the orginal order with these coupons applied. Richard continued to place the receipt in my face and condescendingly asking me if I understand, maybe 6 times. I told him he's the manager and he should be able to process my request without me telling him how to do so. The old lady in the back peeked out and told me I was holding them up for 10mins. The manager and older lady were frustrated and angry at this moment, it made me and my family uncomfortable that we gave in to reduce burger king's inhouse drama. We paid close to the original price, even with coupons applied. I asked who the owner was and richard replied David Aguirre. When i asked for Richards last name he said why, you dont need to know. David knows only 1 Richard works here, again in a condenscending 10yr old response. When we returned to the hospital we were missing burgers, chicken sandwhich, fries, and sodas. I attempted to call burger king customer service but they close on the weekends. Please avoid this location if possible, its simply not worth the headache and loss of time/money. Order #59 @ BK...
Read moreI don't really like leaving negative reviews, but I'm hoping management will see this. My issue here wasn't 1 big problem, instead, a bunch of little things. Nevertheless, I won't be back. I don't live near this Burger King, but I hadn't eaten all day (fasting blood tests) so I was ravenous when I passed this location returning from the clinic. Plus I realized I had a coupon on me. Anyway, it wasn't busy when I got there, nevertheless, everybody seemed busy doing something. That's fine, but I stood there for several minutes (nobody else in line) before someone helped me. This is where a simple "welcome to Burger King, we'll be right with you" goes a long way. So I had a coupon for 2 bacon cheeseburgers (the value menu ones), small fry and small drink. I was starving so I also got some chicken nuggets. I asked for mayo and tomatoes on both burgers. Of course, they charged me $0.15 extra on each Burger for the tomato. Yes, I know that's become standard practice at most fast food joints, I still find it annoying. So I get my order. No mayo or tomato on either Burger (fortunately I was eating there). So I go to the counter and let them know the order was wrong (the receipt showed the mayo/tomato add & up charge). The young lady looked at me like she had no idea what I was talking about, and it took me a couple minutes to explain to her. So no apology, she just grabs the buggers, had kind of a loud exchange with the cook in Spanish, and then threw my burgers in the trash (she did mention when she came back that they always remake mistakes). Okay, so a few minutes later I get my new burgers. There's a minuscule amount of mayo on both, and the single slice of tomato on each was tiny. The smaller of the 2 slices (see pics) was, no joke, just a little bigger than a quarter. In fact it was about the same size and the pickle slice. And both the frys and chicken nuggets were Luke warm, and I was munching on those while waiting for the new burgers, so it wasn't because they had been sitting for a while. So again, these are all mostly little things, but they add up. Additionally, the lack of customer service (no acknowledgement while I waited or apology for the mistake) topped off the experience. As I said at the beginning, I...
Read moreOrdered a whopper Jr value meal, with their promotions a small costs more than a medium—failed to inform me and wouldn’t correct, plus fries were limp.
I’m in a van and sat outside for an hour after I ate watching videos on the local COX WiFi. The manager working sends out kids to “ask” me to move my van. By ask I mean order me. A young black gentleman threatened me after I asked if I needed to make another purchase. They also locked the doors when I attempted to come buy a shake and use the restroom. I moved my van to the neighboring business just to be harassed by the local police five minutes later-apparently they called and grossly exaggerated our encounter. I’m not sure what these guys are used to dealing with, but the way they treated me wasn’t any sort of kind or courteous. Unfortunately I was not able to have it my way at BK today.
If you read through the reviews you can see this kind of treatment is a recurring...
