I went to this Dutch bros location today and was discriminated against over a handicap space. The line was a bit long so I parked in a handicap space. I have a temporary handicap placard hanging in my window due to a serious leg fracture I suffered. When I approached the window I was ignored for the first few minutes and then I was approached by a very aggressive worker. In front of several other customers she began to accuse me of illegally parking in that space. She was demanding to know if that was my car and what handicap I have that would allow me to park in the handicap space. I was shocked and embarrassed. I have never been treated so unfairly due to my disability. She was demanding I move my car and I was committing a felony by parking there. I couldn’t believe what was happening. I tried to explain to her that I’m injured and still healing. That I legally have the right to park there because I have a placard in my window. She acted as if she didn’t believe me. She was very condescending and rude. Under the ADA I’m protected against this kind of discrimination. Eventually I demanded to know her name and she wouldn’t tell me. She just kept smirking at me. As if she didn’t care at all how she was treating me or what was happening. A coworker of hers had to tell me her name. It’s Jordan. I hardly write reviews but I feel this incident should not go unnoticed. Jordan at the very least needs training on discrimination and how to treat customers properly. I have never been so embarrassed before. She actually made me cry because of her harmful comments and treatment towards me. I will never come back to this location. While the drinks themselves were a hit with everyone, the overall experience was incredibly frustrating due to the poor service. The line was quite long, which is understandable on a weekend, but it took a full 23 minutes from the moment we joined the line until we finally received our order. To make matters worse, despite the wait, the broistas didn't even get our order right. Beyond the errors, the service itself was a major letdown. The broistas working seemed completely disengaged and lacked any helpfulness or personality. When I asked for an energy drink recommendation, the response was a flippant "Wow there's lots," followed by just one suggestion. As someone who doesn't frequent Dutch Bros, I rely on their knowledge of the menu, and this interaction was anything but helpful. Furthermore, the appearance of the staff was quite unprofessional. They honestly looked like they had just rolled out of bed. Shoes were disgusting, shirts were beyond wrinkled, and hair looked completely unkempt. It really detracted from the experience. While my family enjoyed their drinks, the combination of a long wait, an incorrect order, and truly poor, unpersonable service means I will not be returning to this specific location. Read moreI walked up, put in my order which was a kid's smoothie and a small blended coffee. A guy behind me orders 4 large blended coffees. I stand in the sun waiting 5 minutes for my order. The guy behind me gets his order before me. Then, I ask why and the employee told me we're waiting on the kid smoothie. Then, the smoothie is ready and I remind them I have a coffee as well, which was not yet made. So, I had to wait on that AND they lied because I was obviously waiting on the entire order. They skipped my order entirely, had me waiting in the sun for 15 minutes for my two simple drinks, and couldn't even apologize. Horrible customer service!! Not to mention, I tipped them $3 for that horrible customer service, and my kid's smoothie was melted by the time I got home because I had to hold it in the sun as I waited for the coffee that wasn't yet made either. If it's possible, I would like the $3 for that tip reimbursed. I also will not be tipping at this location ever again, and will do all I can to avoid this location in general.
