We're so glad that you've replied back and show what a DISHONEST OWNER YOU ARE. You've got very clear that WE'RE NOT LOCAL SCAMMERS. For that main reason we wanted the Sheriff deputy involved in this DISGUSTING dispute to show the evidence of our complaints and concerns about health guidelines and the miserable customer service you have in your place call OLE' MEXICAN GRILL. Apparently you've forgotten that business is not only to pull money from customers and careless of exposing them to get a bacterial infection due to nasty service, your servers don't even use gloves to handle food and barely wash their hands after cleaning tables or handling money. Business is to know the real importance of provide the highest quality in product and performance of your staff to keep your customers who are the most important to keep standing up your, your staff and your families'SOURCE OF INCOME. THANKS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!
We've had never requested a refund or refused to pay what unfortunately we've ate before we realized that even before we were served we've got to handed to your manager dirty silverware that were wrapped in the napkins, we trusted that the replaced silverware were clean. We were very clear saying to your manager we'll pay only if the Sheriff deputy gets informed and able to see the picture and video we've got recorded showing the dirty spoon was placed in my coffee cup previously served on the table and the so rude and frustrated way your manager responded to us. In presence of the rest of the customers. Unfortunately exactly what happened to us, have happened to other customers like Mr. Mario Sanchez for 1 example in your place Ole' mexican grill, in different times and circumstances but the same concerns and complaints. Fortunately there are State Departments to reinforce in restaurants health guidelines and good standards customer's care service and able to provide accurate information about your business to whoever wants more information about your place. This is not a scam. THIS IS AN ALERT TO OTHER CUSTOMERS!!!
AND THIS BE A LESSON TO YOURSELF, WE THE CUSTOMERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR BUSINESS FAILURES. YOU THE OWNER FOCUS, KEEP YOUR FEET ON THE GROUND AND GET THE SENSE OF HONESTY AND RESPONSIBILITY. BE KIND, BE HUMBLE, YOUR BUSINESS AND YOUR STAFF ARE ONLY A REFLECTION OF WHO you really are.
AND YOU THE OWNER DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHY ONLY 2 STARS WE RATED LAST TIME YOUR OLe' Mexican Grill???? Unfortunately we went back to this restaurant expecting better service, didn't happened. This time we want to ALERT CUSTOMERS of this place that we've got evidence of the dirty silverware the server and the manager provided to be use with our meals, 3 items and the very rude and frustrated way the manager of Ole' Mexican Grill, treated us demanding we pay for the complete order including everything we didn't even touched, shame on you must be starving that after 16 years on the business your HEALTH GUIDELINES AND CUSTOMER'S SERVICE IT'S FALLING APART!!!! We waited there for The Sheriff's deputy got involved in the dispute and we've shown him the evidence in picture and video that we've got from this cheap dirty nasty place called Ole' Mexican Grill. Don't be surprised that this dispute move forward including legal actions. Some state departments have to stop NASTY DIRTY places of making Arizonans sick and getting...
Read moreBeen a customer 1 to 2 times a week since 2017 and have now been banned for complaining about the service since the week before Thanksgiving. Twice, before my food had been delivered/ordered and I went to the restroom, I came back to my table being cleared of my drinks and 1 of those times the entire table had been removed to seat a larger party. I understand that with the holiday season restaurants are busier but there is no excuse for a server that does not refill your drink or address the table for over 30 minutes or even realize that the table went missing completely. The last time the server actually repeated my order and it was served with something that I did not order and I had waited 30 minutes for her to take my food order. Two days before Thankgiving my server did not address the table to even take my order for 45 minutes after I had received my drinks which she did not even address initially for 15 minutes after I was seated. Yes, I complained as I would think management would use this as a training tool. I never had an issue in all these years except for service being slow 1 time prior to Covid. I was such a frequent customer that at times the server actually came to the table with drinks in hand and just verifying my standard order before they went ahead and placed it. I was told today that no one wants to wait on me since I complained about the last 3 times I had been in there, one of which I came back to no table. Fact remains I complained about the tables being cleared, extremely long time to get a server to take my order or it being wrong. I always paid for my drinks and took 1 order to go as it had already been placed. This last time when the order was delivered with the wrong food after waiting 30 minutes for it to be taken I went to the register to pay for my drinks and just leave. The owner was there and I told him about the issues and he said he would take care of the drink which I would have paid for. Tonight that was also used against me as the "owner bought my drink" and I am no longer allowed to enter the restaurant and to find Mexican food elsewhere. There are far better Mexican restaurants in Tucson than Ole, unfortunately for me this was the closest to my home. I will drive the extra 15 minutes from now on to get the best Mexican food in Tucson and the best service. Go to La Olla, they also do not charge the extra fee to use a credit...
Read moreHad the mini chimi plate. Tasted good. Kinda greasy. Came with guacamole. EH! Not crazy about guacamole. Tortilla chips were good. Nicer if they were served warm. Under $10 with water on side. Original review had 4 stars above.
Update: Been a long time since last review above. I went with a large group recently and the food was good but the service was what you'd expect of a teenage hangout. I had the Enchilada plate. Very good. One server took our orders. We were on single tickets mostly. When the food came to the table, several servers brought the food.
I felt like I was at an auction! Waiters and waitresses bellowed out, "Who had the XYZ plate?" And who ordered the 123 Salad? The food was served fast that way but I didn't like the confusion. Another thing I despise is, that due to the large group that we had, A MANDATORY 18% TIP WAS ADDED TO EACH BILL!
To me, it keeps the wait staff from doing a better job rather than the juvenile Mickey Mouse pizzeria attitude they had. I was with a much older crowd. The wait staff should have had a way to differentiate between guest dishes like having each seat numbered from the east end of the table where the orders started.
That way, each guest could get their meal without having the wait staff sound like auctioneers. The wait staff would know that guest #5 at the table had the Enchilada plate, like the way it's done in some finer restaurants.
I don't know if the tips are pooled, but how does that make for a good waiter, knowing he does a real good job and another drags his feet confident he'll still get more money because his buddy is working so hard? Maybe if we had 4 people instead of 10, it would be different. I don't like mandatory tipping. A tip is a reward for good service. I was not happy with the way the food was served! I doubt I'll go again. El Molinito not far away, has better...
