Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Fowler

Driving through road 99 , we exited to get some fast food . It took 30 min wait after taking our order and 20 min after taking our money . All we had was a #2 combo meal and a single beef steak burrito . We decided to use the restrooms to wash our hands and eat in the dinning room as we were delayed and tired . so we went in to eat and took our food in . The burger was a single patty instead of double and the steak in the burrito was tough elastic fatty pieces of god kows what meat . When we told them about a single Patty , the worker who made the sandwiches didn’t want to take the blame and started arguing with the ones taking order saying they were the ones who took the wrong order ! They were standing around looking at each other arguing instead of remaking our food. We were so disgusted with them , did it want to waste more time having to deal with three young incompetent workers . we left the food on their counter and left . So basically we paid 24 dollars to wash our hands and wait 45 min to get out of there hungry ! No manager was there either .. just three younger lost worked who could not even...

Your experience with this location will depend on what time you go. Any time during the day and you're solid. Get into the later hours though, with the closing shift, and the experience changes. Food is not prepared as well, received wrong food and on multiple occasions either the store is closed early...like way early, or you get ignored in the drive thru till they are actually "closed". On the website and on Google it says this location is open till midnight. I went tonight, arrived at the drive thru around 11:20 and was ignored in the drive thru, when I pulled up to the window, employee was on her phone, closing out register with bars up. I was told rudely through the glass they close at 11. Website says 12, either your information is incorrect or you have some very confused closing shift leadership. Just wanted some jalapeño poppers and a rootbeer to satisfy some munchies. Only place in town open till midnight, I'm not mad, just...

It was OK. We had a BBQ chicken burger plus two strawberry shakes and a Western double cheese burger combo with fries and a drink...which cost over €30. Now that's a lot of money. Now, if it had been an exceptional burger plus an exceptional chicken burger, then you wouldn't mind paying that, but sadly it wasn't. The chicken burger was very ordinary and the Western burger 🍔, whilst tasty was average at best. But for over 30 bucks you don't want average you want at least good.

When there are so many eateries in such a small area, many offering similar food 🥪 🍔 🐔 🍟 you've really got to bring your A game to the table, which sadly on this occasion Carl's hadn't. Plus the restrooms were locked....you don't want to ask for the key just to go to the restroom. Is it really that inconvenient for a few people to nip in to use your restroom off the Highway 🛣....
