I like this place, but it has some glaring flaws. I could be wrong but my guess is that it is operated by someone who lacks much experience in the restaurant business. Here are the issues I see: mistakes with orders are frequent. This appears to be strictly a communication issue. When the person who took my order makes my smoothie, it is perfect, generally. When that is not the case, things are missing or the wrong ingredients are used. Not always, but often enough to merit a comment. I was also told recently when I asked exactly what is in my smoothie that “I’m not really supposed to say everything that goes in them because my boss doesn’t like us to do that.” Say what? That’s a problem. She told me, but, red flag raised nonetheless. Also, there seems to be no consistency in presentation. I ordered food to dine in and it was served to me at my table wrapped in deli paper. No plate, no cutlery, no napkin. I looked around at other diners and saw they had plates. It’s clear that my dine in order was mistaken for a to go order, but dude...you can see that I’m clearly eating in, so correct your mistake and we’re good. Overall, there seems to be a general lack of organization and leadership. The employees with whom I interact are generally very hard working and competent, so, I don’t blame them for these issues. It appears that a little more training and leadership would solve them. By now it sounds like I don’t like the place. Not true at all, I do and I keep coming back. As for the good: the food is delicious, really good, the smoothies are excellent, and the decor is very inviting. The staff is friendly in a non-phony (read, “bubbly”, yuck) kind of way. I appreciate that they never speak to me in that ridiculous customer service voice people use. I’ll keep coming back, but please, for your own sake, address...
Read moreI hate to give a bad review here. We love the food and the location is really convenient for us. But the wait times are HORRIBLE. We usually order food from here every other week when we have family from out of town over. Today we ordered for pick-up for lunch and were told our order would be ready in 25 minutes. We show up after 25 minutes, pay for our order, and are told that it'll be a few more minutes. 45 minutes later our food finally comes out (we were about to ask for a refund when they finally started working on our order). We ordered a salad, a wrap, and a sandwich. Not exactly an order that should be taking over an hour to make. Completely unacceptable. It would be a different discussion if we were told that our food would be ready in an hour and 15 minutes instead of 25 minutes.
Get more staff! If you have to raise prices because you need to pay a higher wage, then so be it. Cheap prices aren't the reason people are coming here...it's for the food, so raise the prices if you need to offset wage increases. We definitely won't be back because sadly this is a common occurrence...

Staff is generally indifferent to customers and doesn't seem to want to work fast enough to keep people moving through. I don't mind the pricing and the food seems to be quality...but the 15 minutes for a smoothie is just too much (I was the ONLY person in there). We also had a gift card to use, went to use it and they had changed systems. Great, how can we get the money off of the unexpired card (potentially something to consider prior to a system change?)? Staff working didn't have a clue. Left our name and number...no return call after five days. Called and was told they had a solution. Wonderful...but only two people know how to do it...they work until 2PM. I also work and the hours for the Cafe go until 8.
