Went thru the drive thru today ordered two #7 combos, with clearly stated simple instructions on what we wanted. Ended up having to repeat myself over 5 times with every item. The food we received was cold and not made correctly, fries were merely bottom of the bag little stubs and over cooked, the onion rings were mostly broken bits and pieces, the burgers were cold, cheese wasn't melted, didn't have the right toppings and no sauce what so ever. And then I called and it seemed like it was just an everyday occurrence that the food wasn't made correctly, no big deal. I was offered to come back. Why should I waste my time and money having to go back? They should have got it right in the first place. What ever happen to quality control and caring about the product you provide? Very disappointed!!! We were regular customers of Tom's and have visited many different locations, finding some of the same issues. We don't think we will be patronizing them anymore. There are so many other restaurants out there that provide quality food and service....
Read moreI usually visit this Tom's Drive In because it is super close to my home. Today when I went there, I ordered a #2 combo, which is the 2 hot dogs. I was asked what I would like on it, and since I do not come here often, I asked what they had. The worker taking my order seemed super dismissive and continue to tell me "we have everything". Since I do not work there, I was unaware what a DCDB was as that showed on the ordering screen. When I got home, I was sad to learn that it was a double cheeseburger I got instead of the two hot dogs I ordered. I am assuming since this is a new combo, probably a couple months ago it was added, the worker did this out of muscle memory. Sadly, it was a not so great experience. I will stick to only getting ice cream from this...
Read moreThe food is good, it is what it is... when your order is correct. For the last two years, every single pickup or drive thru order we've done has been wrong. Something missing, fries when you ordered a different (more expensive) side, etc etc. It's beyond coincidence at this point, it's poor service. Sometimes we forget to check before leaving, and regret it. Doesn't seem to matter if it's busy or not either, very disappointing.
Update: Picked up a to-go order for work on Friday, and despite my best efforts, our guests for the Packer game decided on a pick up order today. Naturally, neither order was correct. One had an entirely wrong sandwich, and one had mayo/ketchup/pickles/onions despite being requested as plain. I'm done....
