Curry Leaf Foxborough — Restaurant in Foxborough

I just finished the leftovers and still the best food I've had in Massachusetts. Also I was chef at an Indian restaurant for many years and these guys do it right. Everything cooked to order, can hear and smell the curry spices frying to perfection. The lunch combo allows multiple choices and even the samosas were elevated a step above by being tulip shaped, crisp outside, served with a homemade spicy mint chutney and a good tamarind sauce that wasn't too sweet. Dahl soup was delightfully hearty simple but elegant. Garlic naan was better than any pizza I've had in Massachusetts. Saah paneer and lamb curry were spiced perfectly to "hot" for us. They had rasmalai for dessert!!

Yesterday I was served inedible, rotten food at a breakfast place but today brought delight...

1 star. This is likely my last time going to curry leaf. I ordered dinner. Intentionally showed up 30 minutes later than the pick-up time because they typically are delayed. This is not a big deal, but it’s my 3rd time having my order forgotten and not submitted by the person who works the phones. I didn’t give them any grief and had hoped for an apology. Instead I was asked to wait 30 minutes+ and was given no apologies and was asked to pay full price despite the inconvenience. Not even a free drink or a sorry.

I didn’t have time to stay in foxboro, so I ended up doing an hour drive for no food. I even called back kindly letting them know what had happened - hoping for a sorry, but instead I was awkwardly hung up on....

It's a little restaurant in a strip mall, and the ambiance isn't anything special. But, the food is very good. My food was good. I got two things from the appetizer menu, a paneer something and something with potatoes. They were food. I don't know what my companion got, but he LOVES Indian food and eats it regularly and said it was the best he's eaten in a long time. Based on his meal, he'd give it an A+ rave review. I honestly wasn't all that hungry, and had no complaints about what I got, but I'd guess his rave review is pretty spot on given how often he eats Indian food, gets take-out, and orders it from different places when traveling.
