VERY impressed with Howl at the Moon / Splittsville. We came here for the first time to celebrate NYE and the staff, venue, food, and experience was AWESOME. Taylor and Shelly were absolutely fantastic and along with the entire staff, made sure everyone in my group had a blast. Everyone was very hospitable, helpful, and very nice. I've been to some places in Boston where they act like they are better than you and the staff all have their noses in the air. It's not like that here AT ALL. You really feel at ease and are able to have a fun and entertaining night from start to finish. The Howl band was great as well. I'd highly recommend Howl whether it's for a special event, night out on the town, or even just to hang with some friends. Great place.
I want to add an "Edit" to this. Two years later from my above review, Colleen and her team took great care of two groups of friends for this past NYE. We got lanes and had a wonderful night ringing in the new year. Some of the staff may have been different from two years ago, but I can tell you this, whoever does the hiring is amazing because they have such an incredibly kind, fun, and customer centric staff. Every single person we encountered was so nice, willing to help at all times, and very friendly. They almost become a "part of your group" because they are so great to hang with. I can't recommend this place enough. And they did a big renovation and moved things around, so all the areas (bowling, bars, sit down tables, stage, and added top golf) flow very nicely and you can come in and enjoy one or all of those areas and have a blast doing it. Highly recommended for anything from a simple date, to a huge blast with dozens of...
Read moreSplitsville has become our favorite pre-game spot before Patriots games, especially when the weather isn't cooperating. Even during a season when the Patriots weren't at their best, visiting Splitsville was a highlight!
The experience we've had here has consistently been fantastic, and a big part of that is thanks to Bianca. She was our server the first time we visited in 2018 and she is the reason why we keep coming back. However, now she's the manager and the overall experience has only gotten better. She always makes sure we are well taken care of and continues to check in on us. The staff is here is top notch.
Our favorite areas to rent are the Topgolf bays and dart board areas. It's not just about enjoying a meal here; it's about having a blast with friends and fellow fans. The Topgolf bays are a unique and fun way to unwind before the game, and the dart board areas provide endless entertainment.
The food is great bar style food - perfect for an indoor tailgate. We love the steak & cheese egg rolls and the variety of pizza's. We've never been disappointed with our orders, and the menu offers great options to suit everyone's tastes.
If you're a Patriots fan or just looking for a fantastic pre-game spot with friendly staff and unique experience, Splitsville is the place to be. We can't wait for the next season to come around so we can continue...
Read moreWe went here to celebrate my friend's 40th birthday. There were nine of us, and they first seated us at a table that could comfortably sit maybe five to six people. It's not like it was so busy that this was the only open table. Most of the tables were empty. We had to ask to be moved to a different table so we could all sit. Some of the beers we got tasted funny, the most noticeable one was a Bud Light that tasted like someone had melted a stick of butter into it. We placed our food order and about 15 to 20 minutes later, the waitress returned with the meals that eight of us had ordered, then with a panicked look on her face told the ninth person that her order would be out in five more minutes. Twenty minutes later the waitress returned with a plate of food that was not what she had ordered. We all decided to bowl a game which was okay, however the approaches here are very short. Shortly after starting bowling, the waitress came over and took another drink order from us. After waiting for drinks for another 15 to 20 minutes, with the waitress continuously walking by and serving other people, most of us just went up to the bar to get our own drinks.
I wouldn't outright avoid the place, but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to go back. The food was pretty good, the bowling was okay, the service could...
