I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Hao Sushi on several occasions, and I can confidently say it has exceeded all my expectations. If you’re a fan of fresh, flavorful food, this place is an absolute must-visit!
The tempura here is a standout. The vegetables are perfectly cooked, retaining a satisfying crunch and vibrant flavor. The shrimp tempura, in particular, is impressive—crispy, light, and seasoned just right. Remarkably, even my kid, who typically doesn’t eat shrimp, thoroughly enjoys the shrimp tempura every time.
Equally noteworthy is the flame salmon. It’s fresh, flavorful, and provides a fun dining experience that adds a touch of excitement to the meal.
The service at Hao Sushi is exemplary. The staff is attentive yet unobtrusive, always ready with a friendly smile and knowledgeable recommendations. They ensure that every aspect of the dining experience is enjoyable, from the moment you walk in until you leave.
Regarding ambiance, the restaurant is immaculate. The clean and comfortable dining environment is perfect for any visitor. It’s evident that maintaining a pristine space is a priority, which contributes to a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

It was a quiet Sunday afternoon when I popped in. Two other tables were occupied and I slipped into a nice darkened booth. I picked the Angry Dragon Roll: Spicy Tuna & Shrimp tempura covered in spicy crabmeat, tobikko, crunchy tempura bits with eel & miso sauces. Hell of a lot going on in that one!
It was impressive upon arrival: kaleidoscopic colors radiating on slices stood on their sides. Pretty dish, looked quite a bit like a Chinese parade dragon. Like a lot of these wild combos, it was also huge - at least two bites per piece to get down.
I got a kick out of their "spicy crab" treatment. They took the common imitation crab legs and shredded into fibers to further the crab masquerade. Definitely an improvement on texture for sushi.
All in all - the whole thing worked. It was beautiful, delicious and full of fresh ingredients. Even the tempura shrimp had a just cooked-crackle to its texture.
I'd love to try Hao's sashimi - just waiting to go on...
