Koi Express Frankfort — Restaurant in Frankfort

I bought the shrimp dumplings and the tiger roll. After tip I spent $21.85 ( about $19 without tip). The flavor in the shrimp rolls was good, the sauce was great, portion size was small, about 6 tiny fried dumplings. The Sushi was okay, it was pretty mushy, the wasabi is low quality, and the sushi rolls are very small. I've been to a lot of sushi restaurants and usually for $13-$14 you get 12 rolls or at least 8 big ones. These were very small.

I think this restaurant has potential as it's only been open for two months, and I will probably visit again in a year, and if it improves I will change my review. But the bottom line is that I spent $21 and I'm not full, and the flavors didn't make up for it.

I still think you should probably give this place a try, my goal in leaving this review is not to hurt the business, but to leave an honest review that can help the business make necessary changes. Please by all means take my review with a grain of salt and try for...

We got a delivery order through Door dash. Their delivery person left it at our garage door. No notification what so ever. Glad we have security cameras or it would have just sit there. My wife ordered the chicken fired rice. She said it was good but not much flavor. No seasoning. I ordered the hibachi steak, chicken and shrimp. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SPOT & THE PEOPLE THERE! We moved to Frankfort several months ago and after searching and searching for good quick food we found Koi. We now order from here every single week! The hibachi is addicting especially for the great prices! I feed me and my family for the same price as 1 single meal when going to a sit down hibachi place and the food is just as good. It is a great feeling when I through the door to be greeted with smiles and they know exactly what I need.
