TTD Cards Frankfort — Local services in Frankfort

Lady is super rude. Was a repeat customer until she was rude to me on the phone about a few cards I had wanted to purchase the day before. I called to make sure they were still available ( the dude said he would make sure to hold them for me, he was considering a trade on sealed products I had). Long story short I called today (the day after) to see about coming to get the cards and the lady acted to busy to talk on the phone. So I decided to go in person right away And when I got there she rudely told me that the cards had sold that night online (less than 24 hours later.) (The younger dude wasn't working)

The thing is the cards weren't that rare or special.. I just like supporting local comic / card shops. So I stopped in here multiple times to buy singles( they have hardly no supply of sealed pokemon product) .

This place is way worse than the other TTD cards and I'm not sure why they have that name since Alex doesn't own it. The woman who works here and owns it (Bethany) is very rude and not friendly at all. She has favorite customers who she will chat and joke with and she is rude to my female friend who comes with me sometimes to play. Surprised that she is rude to other women in a game that doesn't have a lot of women players. A lot of the "regulars" playing magic (commander) are also rude guys who are not welcoming or friendly to new people.

The store is small and never changes in appearance inside. They could do some displays or decorating, it looks like a church meeting room with old tables and squeaky chairs. Two stars because the prices and selection are decent for a smaller store. I'll make the drive to Louisville orLexington. Not worth...

Go use TCG Player or Card Kingdom. I really wanted to support a small local business. If you need to pull more than 5 cards, they ask you to email a list. I went in for about 30 singles. About 15 people came in after me, stopped helping me and helped another guy pull 50+ cards for 30 minutes on a hand written note.

I complained to the manager Bethany who immediately started helping me (only bright spot of this store). When more people came in and she needed to man the register, the other employees started to sort cards rather than help a customer waiting around to drop a couple hundred of dollars.
