Wendy's — Restaurant in Frankfort

This was my first visit to this location. This location just closed for remodeling so I thought it was doing good since reopening. The Google reviews are extremely low. I always advocate for higher pay/ increasing wages for food service / hospitality workers for the deserving.

I do not recommend sweet tea from this location due to no flavor, weak taste. I asked for sweet tea without ice because usually Sweet tea without ice is warm or at room temperature. Requested no ice due to recent medical treatment. The sweet tea without ice was cold, watered down like it had ice added to it and the sweet tea sat long enough that the ice melted and ruined the taste of the tea. I did not drink the sweet tea, I threw it away when I got home. I thought the french fries looked poorly and tasted very greasy. Results are over $11.00 for a cold spicy chicken sandwich. That seems pricey even for 2024. It's probably a good thing that I didn't go inside and notice how unclean this location was.

I recently witnessed a regional manager at another fast food restaurant performing hiring interviews and that manager would stop the interview to tell the workers that they needed to do a better job. That manager was kicking butts and taking names. I bet someone gets fired and replaced by a new hire. I would never want to remain working for a company that had a toxic workplace environment. Waited 30 minutes both in the drive thru and inside the building on my order, a kid's chicken nugget meal and a baked potato with cheese. Got the kid's meal and drink mostly fine in drive thru but they forgot the baked potato. Totally fine been there forgotten things myself. Went inside and was a greeted by a gentleman saying "best be patient you're gonna have to wait" and a whole other line of people waiting either on their orders or on corrections. There one was guy up front asking people what they were waiting on when an order came up and they could get to the register. One couple was waiting on a sizeable order that the guy up front didn't know where it is, a doordasher just trying to make sure the order he's picking up is right and being rudely informed it is, however after he leaves it seems he was probably given the couples order. The couple finally gets a refund that is short what they paid (she had her reciept). The gentleman from earlier was waiting on his chicken sandwich for longer than I was my order finally got his about 15 minutes after I had walked in so who knows how long he was waiting. 6 employees walk in and out of the building just glancing at everyone waiting and the guy up front would periodically come back asking what a customer was waiting on while no one is taking orders the whole times inside the building I finally get the single thing I needed and...

The last 6 out of 10 times I have been to Wendy's ... My Order is not Correct. There is at Least one Item wrong, or the Hamburger(s) is not Deluxed. The sandwiches are cold, or the meat has been recooked after its set for a while. Fries are cold and hard old ... We buy for a family of 5 adults so the least we spend is 15 dollars Tonight I walk in to order for take out. No one was in front of us nor did anyone come in behind us. We waited over 15 min for our order 2 mins before we left 2 other ladies finally walked in. There was only 3 cars in drive thru. Sad thing is tonight i told the cashier how the last few times my order hasnt been right and that i wasnt complaining cause i wanted my money back or free food i just wanted this order to be right and fresh. So we thought since we waited 15 min it was going to be right and fresh and hot ...well we was wrong the 2 burgers was cold and not deluxed only onion the fries was cold the chicken nuggies was reheated and hard the bacon on the fries was hard like possible break a tooth hard no cheese on the chili cheese fries.
