Bubbakoo's Burritos — Restaurant in Franklin Township

Fantastic!!! We visited today, opening day, after waiting months for this location to open and we were not disappointed. This was our first visit to a Bubbakoo’s Burritos and it has a similar feel to a Chipotle with a beach twist. The serving setup is similar and we chose the chicken burrito and fried Oreos with powdered sugar. We also ordered the chips with a side of guacamole. The staff was very pleasant and did a great job, considering it was opening day. As for the food, it’s what makes this place fantastic. The chicken in the burrito was not overly spiced and the beans were more authentic in flavor and texture than a Chipotle. This burrito tasted more homemade. Next time I will request more sour cream. The only way to describe the fried Oreos is “Jersey Boardwalk”! One bite of this desert brought me back to the Jersey shore as it was cooked perfectly. The nachos are lightly salted, tasted fresh and worked well with the home sauce is very good too! This place is a new gem in the area and I will be downloading the app...

So, there wasn't anything wrong with the place walking in and the staff seemed very friendly. The only reason I feel like I had to leave a review was my experience after leaving. I had bought a make your own burrito and told the worker to put in brown rice, black beans, pulled pork, guac, sour cream and pico de gallo and all of those items were in there but so was this very big piece of plastic that seemed to be a corner of a bag that had been cut off. It was a decent sized piece about the size of a quarter. I had already gotten through 3/4 of my burrito. The night AND day after was absolutely miserable I was having intense stomach cramps and had vomited multiple times. That being said, my friend also got a burrito bowl with mostly everything the same besides shredded cheese and she got white rice instead. She was okay afterwards with no reaction. I don't ever want to write bad reviews but I do want the staff to be more vigilant with their food products and make sure everything is up to code so this doesn't happen to...

First I would like to say that the food I have ordered from the Clinton location is very good. This is why I kept giving the store another chance. Every time I have ordered on line, which is the only option due to the employees never answering the phone, my order is missing something. The first time the chips and queso were missing but I was charged for it. The next time I didn’t get what I ordered. The next, and last time, I got the queso, but not the chips and again was charged and I didn’t receive the ranch dressing that comes with the fried cauliflower. Not to mention that when I showed up, 10 minutes past the pick up time, the order had not even been started. With this type of service, I will be choosing a different restaurant...
