Confectionately Yours — Restaurant in Franklin Township

I stopped here at my mother-in-laws request on Mother's day and was delighted by this adorable little hidden gem. To carry on the tradition my deceased father-in-law started for her forever ago, I was tasked to go grab her some dark chocolate covered cherries. I did have to wait for service for quite a bit longer than I should have, but they were busy and the girl who told me she'd be right with me admitted that she had forgotten about me. (I had to clear my throat after watching her wipe a back counter down after she had finished the task she was in the middle of when she first greeted me to remind her I was waiting.... still). But she was very sweet, and extremely apologetic and at the end of the day we're all human, she was only a teenager, and was genuinely sincere in her apologies. (So, yeah, she still got a nice tip) In the end, I left with 1/2lb. Dark chocolate covered cherries (for mom-in-law), 1/4lb. Sugar free milk chocolate covered cherries (for my Mom), 1/2lb. Milk chocolate covered strawberries which was a total of 4 HUGE (and DELICIOUS) ones (for myself, hey, I'm a Mom of 4 myself after all), and even my husband, NOT A MOTHER, smh, but rather a son of the woman who started my chocolate covered quest was lifted with a 1/2lb of dark chocolate nonpareils. (Lucky, lucky man huh? Lol) With tip, it came out to be less than $50., and although the candy ran out FAR, FAR, FAR TOO QUICKLY, it was so mouth-wateringly scrumptious, I would have happily paid double. (Well, let's be honest, not "happily", more like begrudgingly, but it totally would be worth it. Best store bought/candy shop purchased chocolate covered strawberries I've had in as long as I can remember. Only other ones that are comparable are my daughters homemade ones. So for Confectionately Yours, I couldn't give a better compliment then comparing them with my daughters homemade chocolates. 5stars. Sorry I only have a Pic of the last few nonpareils, everyone else already ate the rest!!! Worth the $, worth the trip if not local. Cute little "soda-shop"esqe counter to sit at, as well as beautiful trinkets for purchase and sit down indoor and outside...

I've been at this place a total of 4x (twice on a school trip & twice on my own) The times I went on the school trip, our server was a sweetheart and treated our students with special needs very well (I forgot her name) The times I dined alone were not a great experience. (first time the service was slow but I wanted to give them another chance cause I went before a holiday weekend) I went over and sat at the counter and a bunch of the servers (many of them looked like high school/college aged students) and one of the servers (she's blonde and wears a septum piercing) goes "Can I help you?" with a nasty attitude. Not a "Welcome to Confectionately Yours, how are you? How can I help you today?" I was taken aback. That's now how a server should ever greet someone that's dining in. The food was fine and the atmosphere is cute and all but I did not like the stares downs from the young servers. Their manager(s) need to train them better on serving and talking to customers. A lot of them were just having personal conversations and not asking if I was ok. Safe to say after both experiences, I won't dine...

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Confectionately Yours! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality, and the service from Shawna R. was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our meal was perfect from start to finish.

Now, let’s talk about the food absolutely amazing! We ordered the shrimp bisque, seafood platter, shrimp stir fry, and shrimp platter, and every dish was beyond delicious. The seafood was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The shrimp stir fry was bursting with flavor, and the shrimp platter was incredibly satisfying. On top of that, the corn nuggets were crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside absolutely addictive! The fried string beans were another standout, perfectly crunchy and full of flavor.

The atmosphere was welcoming, and the overall experience was top-notch. If you’re looking for great food and outstanding service, I highly recommend Confectionately Yours. We will...
