Stop & Shop — Local services in Franklin Township

If you know your prices you can find decent deals. HOWEVER. This store is VERY inconsistent with the products they carry. Meaning if you find a product you like. That doesnt mean it will be there next time you go. Or the time after that regardless of how well it seems to sell. Yet they will carry a zillion different brands of the same type of pickle!! Really. How many different brands of "Kosher Dill" do you really need?? Variety definitely lacks Baked goods, bread in particular are mediocre at best. A hard roll for example is supposed to be hard. Not soft like a large hamburger roll, Same thing with torpedo rolls. If you want quality breads. Got o a bakery. Sausage is often bland with next to no flavor. Particularly true with their so called "hot" sausage which typically is neither hot. not flavorful.. Actually argued with one of their employees about this some time back and he argued back and I quote "If its hot people wont like it" Umm Duhhh its supposed to be hot. If people dont like hot thats why you also have "sweet" sausage Regardless. the "hot" sausage is of poor quality being neither hot. and often lacking anything resembling flavor. Employees are generally very friendly and courteous and the only reason why this store gets 2 stars instead of. I am a business owner. and from my personal observations. Upper management seems to have no problem publicly chewing out lower management and employees for minor infractions as I personally witnessed on several occasions. Seem more content to lead from the rear then actually lead. Add to that they re arrange things every so often that you cant find what you need in a timely manner often leads to me getting so aggravated I leave the store to go find what I need elsewhere out of principle. Betyween the things listed and the frequently lack of available open manned checkouts This store has pretty much become a glorified convenience store for me. I only pray that a different company opens up a different supermarket in...

Shopping at this Supermarket is convenient; I find it hard to find my favorite Appleton Sausag es and single serving baked pizza packs. Yesterday, I asked the clerk and handed to her my purchase of Systane (2 items) and 2 tubes of toothpaste (Sensadyne and Parodontax) to be wrapped separately. Later I hunted unsuccesively to find the above amongst my purchases!! I finally looked at my receipt and found the clerk did not enter my needed items. She obviously misunderstood my request, thinking that I did not want those items! Now I will have to return to purchase those same items, shortly.

I am still getting to know this Stop & Shop! I often go back to the other store, where I know the layout better, which is exactly the opposite of this Stop &Shop store which is much closer to me. I go to the other store at Easton and RFK ROADS, before or after baby sitting...

I was in the Kendall Park Stop And Shop this morning and the motorized carts were all dead. I have bad asthma and by the time I got to the register I was in a full blown attack. The cashier noticed and so did the front end supervisior they asked me if I was ok I said yes but they made me sit down and gave me cold bottle of water the cashier rang up my order while I was siting down I couldn’t catch my breath so I just used my rescue inhaler before I walked in so i just sat and calmed down and wAited for my friend to finish. I want to give recognition to the cashier the frontend supervisior and the girl behind the customer service counter the date is Aug 3rd the time was 10am I thanked them all of course but I want them to be recognized as sweet and caring human beings who took the time to help me when I was clearly...
