Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Franklin Township

I gave this place one star because there's no option to give it zero Stars! I rolled into the store, the Indian national behind the cash register really didn't speak any English whatsoever. I ordered a large thin crust extra sauce extra cheese and sausage pizza to go, I was going to take it home for lunch. In about 15 minutes one of the individuals from the back brought my pizza up and refused to set it down until he handed it to me. His attitude was terrible! I immediately sat the pizza down on the counter and open the box to look at it. The crust was thin just the way I like it but there was absolutely no sauce or no cheese and very sparsely spread sausage. Even though I had asked for extra sauce extra cheese and paid for that. I asked the other non English speaking Foreigner, that was now behind the counter, does this look like extra sauce and extra cheese to you? He refused to answer me whatsoever. The young lady that made the pizza came out and when I showed it to her and said does this look like extra sauce and extra cheese to you? Her reply was the sauce and cheese blended together. I can understand that happening if there was any sauce and cheese on the thing to begin with. I then saw the original guy that was behind the counter, and asked him what he thought about this pizza, and described my concerns, he gave me the old boss not here I can't do anything/nothing routine. I just cut my losses in left because there was no satisfaction to be had here! Nobody in this entire store cared about my issue or my problem with his pizza! I will never freak with this establishment or give them my business ever again. I was so disgusted with the food and the service and the attitude of the employees there that I will tell all my friends to avoid this place no matter how fast food it is go to a regular Pizzeria and stay the hell away from this Papa...

Never ordering at Papa John's again especially this location (Franklin Park). Employees have serious attitude problems especially the new guy. And the people who take order on the phone or online they always end up missing item even after confirming/accepting. I've been Papa John's customer since 2011 and this location since 2013. I blame the ppl who take phone orders. Whenever I order I make a note "DoNot Cut" pizza. since 2021 six in a row whoever takes the order on the phone they mess up my order and employees at store blame me for not ordering correct. It might not be a big deal for many people but it is for me. Even though I've been very nice with them, tipping them everytime I order. I complained few time but they don't care infact they do something nasty with your food. They don't wash hands after peeing and pick nose while working in back, scratching their a$$ with hand in pants, wiping out sweat with bare hands, no gloves. I've uploaded a video on YouTube of them doing all kind of nasty stuff including sneezing on pizza while preparing it. Idk if they were trying to take revenge or what. Once again I blame the ppl who take orders on the phone and not place it correctly and completely as requested. They should learn to be clean and be nice. Extremely poor customer service. I waited by the register and not one person acknowledge that I was there. Finally, he told me to wait until he fulfilled Two pizza orders. Then the guy had trouble entering my order and I waited a good 4 minutes until he finally was able to tell me the total. I never got a receipt. I noticed that not one person wore gloves even after they came from what appears to be the walk in fridge. The staff appeared to be overwhelmed by the orders. I did notice they were hiring for various positions. I was told to return in 15-20 minutes. I decided to kill time at the Dollar General. I returned within 20 minutes and one of my pies was not ready. As I waited, a woman paid for her order and was waiting. As she was paying using the cc machine, the guy left towards the back. She finished her transaction and waited. She had to ask the guy if that was it and he said yes. Total lack of customer service. I was just waiting to get out of there. If you can, run...
