Foods good, if you want crispy fries and nuggets (all i've had) that are nicely salted and warm, this is probably one of the best fast food places in the area. So why a low review? It's a franchise, you'd expect the food to be just as good as it is everywhere else, especially with how new this one is. And it's hard to enjoy the food when it's following a horribly run drive thru. I don't know if the training is just poor or if there isn't any or if the employees just don't care. What prompted me to make a new google account to review was the most recent time we went when the girl on the microphone for the drive thru was having a conversation with another female staff member and hardly listening to what i had to say. She said she couldn't hear me. I was already practically yelling (not at her, just so she could hear me) and i kept repeating myself and finally she was able to hear me when she stopped having her conversation finally (i lowered my tone of voice if anything). Took her over a minute to actually start talking on the mic after several hellos from us (probably because of her and her coworkers pressing social matters). Keep in mind, this is not an isolated incident. Stuff like this happens all the time, i'm just fed up enough to make the review now. I've seen drive thru staff be downright rude to other customers ahead of me in line and the manager will have to take over the order and will actually affirm the staff member. Wtf. I admit i don't actually know what the customer was doing, but from what i could hear they just ordered too much food or something and she just wasn't wanting to work that day. Whether it's low work ethic or lack of management and training, this is by far the worst service i've ever experienced at any...
Read moreI really give up! I went to the drive thru at Wendy's in the Walmart Plaza tonight. This was the first time for me. I ordered 2 Dave's doubles, 2 large fries and 1 fish sandwich. That's it. Pretty simple. They asked me to pull around to the side and they would bring it out to me. I really didn't understand why, but I figured maybe the fish sandwich threw them. So I pull around the front and wait. Out of sight, out of mind. I waited 15 minutes. I could see them through the window. Fully staffed, some standing around doing little if anything. Then the original person who was at the window looked out and saw me. The look on her face confirmed what I already knew. They forgot about me. So now I'm watching her scramble around. After another 5 minutes she comes out with a bag and hands it to me. As I'm putting on my seat belt, here she comes again and hands me another sandwich and tells me the manager gave me an extra fish sandwich for free. Now I don't need one and won't eat it, but whatever. I get home and in the bag was 2 Dave's doubles, only one order of fries, one fish sandwich, one chicken sandwich and some type of chicken wrap. All of it was ice cold. My husband and I ate the burgers and he ate the fish sandwich. Everything else went into the trash. I don't know if I felt more sorry for myself or the person who didn't get half of their order because it was put into my bag. First and last time for me. Fully staffed, not real busy and totally incompetent. With the price of food these days, I'm sure I can...
Read moreHave stopped at this Wendy’s on four occasions. Each time it has been an issue. Despite the line not being that long, we are always told “just a minute” before our order is taken. Seems they can only handle one or two cars at a time. We we do arrive at the window it appears to be total chaos inside. Teenagers trying to fill the orders going back and forth and appearing to not know what they are doing or where they need to go. Today was the worst of the worst. Two teenagers standing g at the drive thru window with a vacant stare and a woman in street clothes came over and started giving them directions. I was handed a bottle of water for my kids meal then two bags and told “have a nice day”. NOW! Wouldn’t you think that meant I had my entire order? I got home to find out I was missing the remainder of the kids meal. When I called they said I drove away before they could give it to me and the manager yelled out the window to me but I had my window up and didn’t hear her. Well, to me “have a nice day” meant goodbye. When I asked how we were going to resolve it they said I had to come back to the store. When I said it wasn’t possible given the 20 minute drive and that everyone was already eating lunch. She said that is the only thing I can do. I expected let me take you name and when you are here again we will make it right. Avoid this Wendy’s! They have not trained staff or management correctly and you will not get...
