We were in town for a tournament and being thanksgiving we decided to set up reservations for our group.

They told us that we could only do reservations by 8 so we did and when I set up my group I made sure to mention that we wanted to be with the others.

We arrived a little before 7 we had a table of 8 / 10 and another table on the other side of the restaurant.

Our group separated our kids to one table and the adults to another. We had to ask to take our drink orders. Only one waiter to both tables. We put in our kids order around 7:45 then waited another 30 min had to go to the manager and ask if they’re going to take the adults food order. By the time our food came out our kids were way past done and we’re getting antsy. We mentioned to the hostess that we have been waiting quite sometime for our food and our other party already left and went back to the hotel because they were done.

The food came out honestly I was not impressed. My chicken tasted frozen with vesuvio sauce poured over a flat piece of dry chicken. Potatoes tasted bland or else it was from a box. The lobster bisque was not to my liking it tasted more like cream of tomato. Overall the food was at the caliper of TGIFridays but over priced.

There are no alternative options for kids as though they don’t want you to bring them.

They rushed us out didn’t even ask if we wanted anything wrapped. My nephew didn’t finish his meal they threw it out we had to ask for them to put together his barely touched food.

After driving 8 hours the only thing that we wanted was a good dinner this by far was not. After seeing what we went through you would think a manager would have come to us and apologize or maybe do something for our group to ease the difficulties of the evening but that was not their intention.

I read the reviews and I have to say that this city must not have a variety of good food to know what to compare it to.

I wouldn’t recommend it especially if...

I visited this restaurant with eager anticipation of a satisfying meal, only to be disappointed. Despite being a frequent patron, never before had I encountered such a disappointing experience. My visiting family, seeking a delightful and nourishing meal, had been led to believe this establishment was ideal, based on my enthusiastic recommendations of its delectable cuisine. However, my expectations were sadly unfounded. Being a vegetarian, I opted for the Alfredo pasta. Our party of six, three of whom were vegetarians, ordered double portions of the Alfredo pasta along with two vegetable sides. When our waitress brought our meals, I inquired about the double portion size, to which she confirmed. Unsatisfied with her response, I requested to speak with the manager, but to no avail as he never appeared. This discrepancy troubled me, prompting me to investigate further by observing another customer's order of the Alfredo pasta. To my astonishment, her single portion was equivalent in size to our requested double portion. Upon returning to my table, I informed my family of this revelation, I then requested for the manager a second time prompting the manager's eventual appearance. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the disproportionately small double portion of Alfredo pasta, to which he nonchalantly acknowledged a reduction in portion sizes. However, upon highlighting the discrepancy in portion sizes between ours and another customer's, the manager attempted to justify it by mentioning the inclusion of vegetable portions, despite still charging us the full price for a double portion. This lack of transparency left a sour taste in our mouths regarding the restaurant's integrity.. Also when we were seated, our family was the only one occupying that section of the restaurant. I would sincerely hope that our treatment was not influenced because we were...

The food here is very good. But sadly, their customer service is terrible. I asked them to do my wedding shower in their outside area. They told me it would be $1300 for me to do my wedding shower there and that they could only do it with one check, so it didn't confuse the waiters. I only have 20 - 25 guests coming? So I asked, can I just have a few seats reserved inside of the restaurant? I don't need to rent the entire outside area. He said, "Yes, but you still have to keep just one check." You can't divide the check. Which doesn't make sense to me for the fact that I have been to a O Charlie's and they could handle 20 people on different checks, so I don't know if you need to get better waiters and waitresses that can actually handle the job but for you to think that you are worth $1300, you clearly think a lot of yourself. So you should be able to handle splitting up a few checks. But besides the point, they were not polite at all and basically told me if I didn't like that, I could go to somewhere else which is exactly what I'm gonna do $1300 is outrageous to rent a small outside area? I am getting married in florida and we are having our wedding venue on a huge dec on the beach at a restaurant. They are only charging us $500, and it is an extremely classy restaurant, and they have been very kind and willing to help anyway they can. and that is for my wedding, there will be a lot more people there. Y'all wanted to charge me an outrageous amount of money for 20 people. You could have at least been...

I've dined here and really enjoyed my meal but meh service. Was a business function so maybe that's why the service was not great...I had to keep asking for my water to be filled. Anyway, just ordered online Lobster Bisque with a 18% tip totaling just over $17. I feel the tip is generous considering all they had to do is put the soup and spoon in a bag. Then there is the soup...I was so excited to try it because a person told me it was better than Perry's...and Perry's is AMAZING! This batch from BrickTops was on the bitter side vs indulgent and creamy. Finally the lobster part...there was 1 decent bite of lobster and 2 smaller pcs. See photo, that's all of it. Maybe because I ordered online they skimp the order but Perry's gives you a full bowl of lobster pieces and pours the soup into your bowl at the table. Very disappointed but the tuna tartare salad was great at the business event. Like I said could be a difference of quality whether it's to go or dine-in. Had the lobster bisque been my only experience here, I'd have put 1 star! Oh and I added special instructions because someone else was picking it up. Clearly my tip was worthless, they didn't even read them and confusion set at pick up...not the brightest I guess. What's the point of having instructions if no one reads them?

I’m always satisfied when dining at Bricktop’s. It’s a top-tier restaurant with a cozy, dimly lit atmosphere that creates a sophisticated, mature ambiance. Every dish I’ve had has been excellent. While it’s not the cheapest option, it’s more reasonably priced compared to other steakhouses like Perry’s and Ruth’s Chris. Although I don’t have kids, I’ve noticed the restaurant is family-friendly, with drawable paper on the tables and likely crayons available. I highly recommend the Shanghai shrimp and the Caesar salad as appetizers. My partner loves the steak frites, which offers a perfect portion of steak and fries. Personally, I’m a fan of the prime rib , substitute baked potatoes for onion rings. There’s really no bad dish here. For your first visit, I suggest making a reservation—it’s always a good idea!

Bricktops is the restaurant we dine in the most often. The atmosphere, staff, wait time, and food draw us back time and again. Tonight, we wanted a lighter fare. Lobster bisque and the wedge salad for me, soup and burger for him. The Shanghai shrimp appetizer, new to the menu, was delicious. New decor same delicious food. Good service friendly staff. I had the tempura battered shrimp tacos. Black beans' flavor complimented the tacos. The rice did not. It was okay. Bland. My personal preference would be to leave out the corn.
