Radish Kitchen — Restaurant in Franklin

My partner and I came down from Boston, MA for a long weekend to see Blink 182 in Nashville. Before flying out on Monday, we met up with a local friend in Franklin. After trying to find a cool place to have lunch, we came across Radish. I don’t usually write reviews, but this place deserves all the praise! From the get go, ambiance was great: aesthetic, bright and inviting! (Pic is view from row of tables across the register/counter). Right next we were welcomed by amazing service: friendly, helpful and again, inviting! But when the food came out…we were blown away! It was absolutely delicious! I had a chicken mamacita as a wrap and everything was scrumptious: the wrap itself, the pairing and freshness of the ingredients, the well seasoned chicken, and last but not least, the tomatillo lime dressing - yum! (Pic of opened wrap for some details of the contents). My partner had a lemonade to drink and I took a sip from it, and I was so glad I did! It was equally delighted! Folks came around to ask us how we were doing after our food was delivered, and the great service continued! Overall, impressive and highly enjoyable experience! I have always been a fan of Radish, which is why my husband and I decided to order it for dinner last night via Uber Eats when we didn't feel like cooking.

I got the salmon salad and he got the hot chicken salad. We picked it up right from the door after our deliverer dropped it off and ate them right away.

I enjoyed my salad, but ever since this morning, my husband has been extremely sick due to food poisoning from his. Stuff happens, and I do not believe it is a reflection of the restaurant as a whole, but the reaction to my call left me very disappointed.

I just got off the phone with the manager and his response to me was one of surprise and stated that food poisoning takes 24-48 hours to show up, which is not true, it can show up as soon as a few hours after eating. We also know that his salad caused it, due the fact he ate nothing else after, and prior to that ate what he normally does every day, which I had eaten as well.

The manager briefly offered to get him a new salad, which he of course would not feel like eating again any time soon. He did not offer to comp the meal or offer anything additional. I was in the restaurant business throughout college, and would have expected a much different...

Love, love, love this place! My sister and I were super hungry when we arrived, so we really appreciated the fast turn-around of our orders. I chose the Mexican Street Corn Caesar Salad and I would eat this every day if I could. It was bowl style and everything was super fresh and beautiful: grilled chicken thighs, seasoned street corn right off the cob (heaven!), cotija (cheese?), tomatoes, cucumbers, and lime over a bed of delicious greens with a killer house-made Caesar dressing. I like a lot more dressing but I like how having to ask for more prevents waste. I was very sad when I was done eating this masterpiece! Loved the staff's energy and friendliness.
