Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Franklin

I've been hearing a lot about Chicken Salad Chick lately, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the jalapeño one which is one of their most popular ones.

The food was visually appealing, but it was pretty boring to eat. The chicken salad was bland and flavorless, and the spice were just kind of there. The only thing that really saved the scoop was the dressing, which was creamy and flavorful.

I also tried the bacon and cheese one, and it was just as disappointing. The chicken salad was bland and flavorless and the atmosphere was stale. The scoop was also very small for the price.

Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at Chicken Salad Chick. The food was boring, the portions were small, and the prices were high. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

It's fun to romanticize a southern lunch on the porch on a warm summer day, enjoying Grandma's chicken salad and a sun drenched sweet tea. Just slightly less rewarding is finding a lunch destination restaurant that offers an amazingly similar southern meal without Grandma in the kitchen. "Chicken salad chick" has smartly packaged this type of restaurant into a fast, convenient counter service environment.

I'm writing this when this location is still pretty new, so I have been unable to try many of the chicken salad variations or enter the doors when it's not packed.

The decor is nice and it does feel like a great red hat lady lunch location. But the current crowds and crowded table layout doesn't provide for that meeting.

The only other negative feeling I have about this new restaurant is it's surprising reliance on a minute maid lemonade in a restaurant that many would assume would make their iced tea and lemonade from tea bags and lemons.

Otherwise, the food was good and I look forward to returning to the chicken...

This place is great! We've been wanting to check it out for a while & finally got to. My husband had the BLT Chicken Salad croissant and I had the Maui Mama scoop. We both got the pasta salad for a side. This is a light & refreshing lunch option. Fills you up without feeling "too heavy". Pricing, I feel, is better than a lot of other places, especially right now with inflation. The pasta salad is a bit dry compared to what we're used to, BUT it is their unique version and it is very tasty. Fresh mozzarella in there too! The Maui Mama had just the right amount of heat as I do not like "hot" anything. Just the right amount of Jalepeño & slightly "warm" heat. BLT was great too! I did not order a drink so our cashier said "would you like a cup for water?" Very thoughtful. He was very personable, happy and sweet. We went there at 1:30pm on Tuesday, right after the "lunch rush". Restaurant was still a little over 1/2 full with customers & it was VERY clean! Definitely coming...
