Well being how I was a hangry Joe when entering I was being cheap my girlfriend on the other hand dove right into the 15 combo while I stood firm on the 10.99 tenders and water. Prices are what they are these days and I get it. I do my fair share of handing that out that treatment in my own food service establishment. I was hoping for the food to at least be enough to fill me up. Since im in the middle of trying to be a 20 year old 41 year old physically (not mentally thats just hangry talk) I had fasted all day. and it did fill me up so it was a win for me. The mild sauce was sweet to me different because I thought in the universe of chicken "mild" means thinned buffalo sauce. So I did appreciate an actual different flavor for mild. The man at the counter prides himself in his work, and I respected that about him I know they try hard and the man who brought me my food didn't know it but was able to pierce to my heart in a good way with how selfless he was and willing to do his job. This combined with the fair portion of food was able to subdue the hangry in me for at least serveral more hours and in doing so I give my thanks. In the google powers invested in me I rates them 5 stars. I thought they were worth 4 stars to be honest. But the 1 star spicy mac and cheese tyrant review gave me no choice but to raise it to 5 stars again to counter balance her woe is me review on her own error for some how being burnt by sweet sauce. Maybe they need to make a waiver for the mild sauce too? I donno... that is for the universe of chicken to decide..and for all you 1 star bandits out there stay hangry cause heat rises!

Read moreI've been here 3 times. The quick rundown is the chicken was juicy, the fries were really good, the service was pleasant and genuinely helpful, the speed is fast casual, and they offer everything from no heat to options that are quite hot, but not full blown chicken wing challenge heat levels. What I've had was really good. Worth a visit.
Long version - I've had 2 Sandos and a mega-Sando - chicken sandwiches. The heat is from a dry rub (easy to change out), the chicken sauce is delicious, and the slaw just works on the Sando despite my general dislike of slaw. It might have been a bit much on the mega, but still good. I've had a Sando and mega Sando with Hot, and one regular Sando with angry hot.
The hot is probably as hot as BWW's mango habanero or a 6 or 7 for a Hot Ones lineup - I'd call it 5 or 6 out of 10 for true hot heads (I find 10 is not enjoyable, 9 is pretty questionable). I notice the general effects of hot food from it, but not bothered by the heat.
The angry hot is probably in the vicinity of a BWW wild (maybe a bit more?), which I'd call it a 7 or 8/10 (on a harsh scale that includes me once getting sick when sauce hit stomach 6 hours after dinner for a 10/10 heat). It's way hotter than most people like, but I don't think it's as hot as chicken heavily coated with Da Bomb: Beyond Insanity - and that's a good thing. I'm glad they didn't skip multiple levels of heat just to have a challenge level of spice. The waiver is overkill, but it is quite hot. It meshes well flavor wise with the rest of the sandwich.
I'll have to try the wings, bites, and...
Read moreWe arrived to find them occupying a previous Burger King spot. This gave it a look that was both modern and clean. I noticed some graffiti-style art in the windows that is popular with Nashville Hot Chicken places for reasons unknown. 🤷♂️
The gentleman at the counter greeted us and explained their heat levels, telling us that mild was still spicy and ‘Angry Hot’ required a signed waiver. 😥 He advised that we start on the low end.
We ordered:
🐓 #3 Chicken Fingers Combo (mild) 🐓 #2 Sando Combo (mild) 🐓 #2 Sando Combo (no heat)
Having eaten at all the other local fast-casual hot chicken restaurants I had a decent basis for comparison. I thought the overall sandwich was an acceptable example of a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, having that signature spicy kick that’s quickly cooled by the pickles, slaw, and brioche bun. 🔥
The chicken itself lacked the full coverage deep red color I’m used to seeing from the cayenne pepper glaze of traditional Nashville Hot. A telltale sign of the light saucing was the mostly-dry piece of white bread. I would’ve preferred seeing it more stained at the end of our meal. 🍞
The waffle fries were deliciously hot and crispy and the included dipping sauce was tangy and cooling. They made sure we had plenty of both. 👍🏻
I thought the $12 Sando combo was an excellent value. The other combos were $15-16, making them a bit less appealing. To be fair, their prices were within a dollar of Dave’s Hot Chicken prices when you factor in a...
