Krystal — Restaurant in Franklin

Worst Krystal in the USA. Every single time we eat here the food is OLD. Hard and cold buns and meat. Cold and limp fries. Disgusting food. They cook a batch of food and just let it sit there until they sell it. We NEVER get "freshly made" food. I'm surprised we haven't gotten food poisoning. This is not a new problem. This has been going on for years. Every time we eat here we say we're never going back...but then we do...and always regret it. I am reporting them to the Health Department and to Krystal's Corporate Office. Will NEVER eat here again! Notice the owner's response is the same on every bad review. People complaining about the same things and STILL they have problems. He doesn't care. I read where one person got food poisoning from eating here in December 2018. This place should be shut down. The owner calls them "fresh hot off the grill burgers." That's a LIE. I suspect many of these reviews are FAKE. NO WAY they are about...

Wanted to try something new, so I went to Krystal. I got the 4 Krystals combo. It was pretty good. The way the mustard pairs with the cheese works. The onions add a robust flavor to it. The fries were the best part, though. Good seasoning, but not too spicy. They were not dry or old either. Good meal. Now, this location is on a weird, steep hill behind a shell station. Don't go during slick weather. Parking is limited, but the lobby is closed, so that won't matter. The drive-thru wait is long, but it's because they are short staffed. I saw only two people working there during my visit. Prices are kind of high, too. And the beverages have a ton of ice in them. If you charge your meal, they only take Visa or Mastercard. None of these are deal breakers, but overall, it makes it questionable to return. I may, but...

Ahhh Krystal. When you are in the mood for one of their belly bombers, or other food items this store is one of the cleaner ones with fast service. but Drive through only for now It is attached to a SHell gas station so you use their bathroom ( Which was clean when i was there today) Krystal is right off i interstate 65 Take the east exit for route 96 Remember do not buy gas in the Franklin area.... it runs about 35 cents a gallon more than 2 exits south off 65 and actually cheaper in Nashville city limits. So you can get good krystals food here and be in your clean Nashville hotel room just about when those belly bombers say you should be ready to have a private sit down.
