Probably the worst customer service I have experienced. My boyfriend called to book a party of 12 for my birthday at 5pm. The man on the phone was so nice and confirmed the time and date for us on the phone. When we arrived the lady informed us she had us for 10am and told us that we had booked the wrong time and would have to wait until another party to be able to play. She did not once apologize for their mistake or even try to say it was their mistake. She sat there with a smirk on her face saying it was our fault the time was wrong and never once apologized or tried to make it right. To make things even worse if they did have us for 10am they did not call or email or anything to see why we had not shown up but instead kept the $50 deposit and said nothing. It was obvious we were upset as we had scheduled dinner plans to be right after golf. The woman seemed quite entertained by the fact that they had messed up our time and was determined to convince us it was our fault. One of the kind employees came to us away from her and told us we could go ahead and squeeze in and play. He told us the woman was “moody” and that he was not sure why she would not let us go. The experience overall was great we have been here plenty of times and love the course but to have an employee smirk in our faces and blame us for their mistake truly ruined how we feel...
Read moreWe had such a good time on the Adventure Tower (2 physically fit millennials). We visited during their twilight hours on a weekday our first time. Level 3 had some really difficult obstacles. Hearing traffic on the interstate nearby adds some intense bg ambience.
All obstacles are color coded. Black being the hardest. We were easily able to do the red and blue obstacles, but I only completed 4 black obstacles the first visit.
You will likely be sore (SORE Adventure Tower lol) the next day, but it is worth it. Total body workout. Soar Adventure Tower also challenges you mentally—not just physically. You may start out on a course and think you can't make it, but you problem solve. Make rational decisions. Or not. Still proceeding along. Feeling out your stamina limitations and strength and deciding what the next handhold or foothold will be or what angle you need to approach the next test.
I look forward to coming again and again to see what I can accomplish. I learned a lot about myself in just throwing my being at the next obstacle. I was surprised many times, too. How did I manage that?!? It was an absolutely enriching experience. Staff were so helpful and friendly. I felt safe despite being so high up because of the precautions they have in place. Highly reccomend you...
Read more"Black Friday Special: First 100 climbers that pay regular price will receive a free annual membership"...This Facebook announcement prompted me, my wife and kids, and many others to wait for two hours outside of Soar during the early morning hours of Black Friday. Imagine our surprise when a manager showed up and explained that a "membership" that we would be getting involved paying $45 that day and then having the privilege of only paying $30 per climber upon each future visit. This does not sound like the common perception most have of the perks of a membership. If any membership details were explained online I would understand and blame myself for not doing my homework, but the manager was kind enough to tell me all of that information was only located inside the facility...this after a very insincere apology for the "misunderstanding". Many other families were also confused and upset, so I feel confident this was not made clear. Upon speaking to the owner, I was informed that, "It is my business and I can make a membership mean anything I want". Although my kids were not thrilled to leave after such anticipation, I could not imagine giving business to a place that knowingly or unknowingly misleads customers and refuses to...
