Quality Inn Franklin - Cool Springs Area — Hotel in Franklin

For a smaller, older hotel i have to say, this is one of the most comfortable hotels ive ever stayed at. Friendly, welcoming staff. No bugs, no hassles, warm, comfortable beds, 4 big fluffy pillows, thick fluffy warm comforters ,great shower/water pressure. Clean. Yes some burns in green top cover but that's what happens in hotels that allow smoking in some rooms, didnt bother us. The people that clean are extremely friendly and understand that i had been skipping days because i work nights and sleep days but dogs get a little musty lol. However they agree to do our room last so i don't have to try to stay awake. They never complain about my Dog's or anyone's Dogs, i have emotional support dogs and 1 is ptsd trained to bark/alert me if any strangers are near. Now, due to covid... breakfast is muffin type snacks, yogurt, bananas and jimmy Dean sausage croissants/ bicuits and they are all fresh and good. ALL staff is friendly and welcoming. We had to leave for a cpl of days as they filed up with reservations and we could not wait to get back to these amazingly comfortable beds with 4 fluffy pillows, warm , safe feeling (sorry if i repeated anything) we lost our lease in Nov and have had to stay in many hotels, so stress and anxiety levels are extremely high and this is by far my favorite, no pretensious snobby staff, this truly is "quality" we Are very happy here...if i had to pick out anything wrong it would only be the cleaning carts, as they roll by it sounds like when you're at a Amusement park and the roller coaster is coming in lol i actually dreamt this one day haha, but most people don't sleep days so that's my problem not everyone else's lol. Not complaining about it just made laugh when i woke up drum dream thinning i was at disneyland or magic mountain back home haha. Truly would rather stay here than any other hotel around. Definitely will be staying and will come back in the future if need be.* i read the other reviews and i can say mistakes happen at all hotels but we have not encountered any of these issues except ice bucket was a little dirty but i wash them with my own dish soap and sponge anyhow at all hotels, cant complain because i accidentally took the ice bucket inner piece as we were using as dog water bowl and i didn't know that's where it came from lol. My friends and I just are college aged females traveling alone. We found this cheaper on Expedia (knew it probably was not going to be the best quality but decided it was fine since we are broke) so we booked. We were excited to have a good nights sleep to break up our trip home. When we got to the hotel, I checked in with the host. He was not very hospitable. He did not let me know what he needed from me. I had to do most of the talking. He did not speak very good English so when I would ask him to repeat himself to make sure I heard him correctly he would get frustrated, change what he said and confuse me more, or just completely ignore me and look at his computer screen. After handing me the room card, my friends and I checked the room out. We just walked into the room and pulled the sheets out to check for bed bugs. Instead of bed bugs, we found nasty, dirty sheets with snot, boogers, and a lot of other unknown substances. The carpet did not look like it had cleaned for a long time (again, we are college students so we would know). I went down to ask the host for new sheets and just told him that the room was dirty. Instead of new sheets, he took my card and gave us a new room number. We went to check out our new room. This room was in between two rooms that had very suspicious looking men that we did not feel comfortable around. The new room was not any cleaner than the previous room. I went down to talk to the host again and explain to him that the room was dirty and that we were uncomfortable. He did not care or even listen to our concerns. A lady came in while I was talking to him to let him know her room had not been cleaned either. After we handed the key in (we did not get a refund by the way), we watched as he walked to our room, flipped the sheets back how they were, and turn the lights on (the only reason we left the lights on and sheets like that were since we had planned on coming back to the original room but he switched them). 10/10 would never recommend...

I honestly wish it were the spt kind because I would def live here, we love the owners etc and hubby had become very good friends with a cpl of them, i wish we could just be here forever, i truly funny want to leave. Love it here, and if we ever find a home to call permanent this is my go to fit any emergency or can't get home from work (2 blocks away) weather i super highly...
