Unfortunately, this visit was not great. First, almost all the tables were very dirty. Although, the bathroom was not bad. The stall we used was acceptable, but my daughter ducked out of the other stall to use mine (I did not investigate why, I don't have that kind of morbid curiosity). They called our order quickly, but it was all wrong. Before we could correct them, they called our order again. This time the order was correct. But then as we sat there wondering whose order we were given, we overheard the manager scolding the employees about making mistakes. Everyone seemed overworked and under trained and honestly, I know these folks are getting paid that much. The burgers were... a bit burnt and dried out. It was not up to standards. This is why we chose McDonald's because we expect a certain standard. Then while we were eating, there was an issue with them running out of fries so people were waiting around, piling up to get their orders. More orders were being sent out incorrectly. It just seemed really sad and unfortunate. I hope they can get the training they need and enjoy their work a little bit in a positive environment. But that's not what we experienced this time. This is a picture of our very strange double order of burnt burgers we received.... one set was clearly ours with the tags, the other set had no tags on them at all, but were single patties instead of the...

While service was quick and at first friendly, I politely asked the cashier for some extra pickle they had forgotten on my sandwich (no big deal for me, just like pickles) the cashier seemed so inconvenience and loudly moaned and shrugged and became impatient with her co-workers.
In addition, the trash cans were overflowing and the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Paper everywhere on the ground, empty soap dispensers, etc. Which I know is more a reflection on the customers that eat there, but other parts of the store being untidy lead me to believe they have poor hygene practices.
I watched another young employee who looked no more than 14 or 15 quickly grab a cup meant for me and set it on the other end of the counter. Didn't look at it even acknowledge me. He proceeded to stand there clapping his hands in front of him and behind him back and forth for the next 3 minutes waiting for the next thing to do.
Now, I could understand if they were busy or rushing or what have you. But there was no line in drive thru, no line when we came in and barely anyone by the time we left. If they aren't attending the lobby, bathrooms, or customers, but have enough time to stand around fiddling their thumbs and chatting casually, this leads me to believe they have poor...
Read moreWhat an experience. We had been on the road for three hours and needed a quick break. When we went to use the restrooms, neither had soap or TP. However, both had employees using the facilities. For obvious reasons, we decided against food. Instead, we ordered two large coffees and two bottles of water. After we ordered our drinks, a young man approached holding two plastic cups. "Here you go." I said we ordered two bottled waters. He said, "what difference does it make, it's water." I said, well, the difference is I paid for the bottled water. He just stormed off. As he prepared our coffees, we watched him drop numerous coffee cups on the floor, and after rolling around, placed them back in the lower storage shelf. Nope, he didn't toss those cups in the garbage. There was no way we were drinking those coffees. Should also mention the manager was checked out. While junior was dropping cups on the floor, she was distracted by rubbing the back of what appeared to be another manager as he waited for an order to be fulfilled. The level of professionalism and training was horrendous. When we left, another employee was out the back door hacking away uncontrollably. A woman waiting in the drive through, a few feet away, looked at us and shook her head in disbelief. We ditched everything in the garbage and started over at...
