TL:DR - Burger was good, the sides were forgettable, and the shake was basically milk.
Had been meaning to try this place for a while, and finally got around to it. Decided to do a takeout order, including the cheeseburger, fries, side of mac & cheese, and cinnamon toast crunch milkshake. Contrary to what the website says you can indeed get milkshakes to go. Woman at the counter was friendly and helpful with my order - there was no plain cheeseburger on the menu so I had to get a Rock Burger with nothing on it. Wait time was average & the decor was pleasantly kitschy. Iâm including prices because their website and printed menu do not.
Cheeseburger ($7) was the best thing out of my order but thatâs not really saying much. Supposedly the bun was toasted but it was all together pretty mushy. American cheese was fine & the patties were seasoned with mostly seasoned salt. It was about the same size as a fast food double burger. It was good, but I was kind of expecting more out of a âsmashâ burger.
Fries ($4) were fresh cut and dusted with the same seasoned salt. They were limp slices of potato that were more like large homefries from a diner than fries from a burger joint. They were ok but I wouldnât get them again. The mostly skin pieces werenât even crispy.
Mac & cheese ($6.50) was al dente elbow macaroni in a weak cheese sauce. It was a healthy portion but it was mostly bland so I ended up throwing most of it away. There were a few crunchy bits that were likely the macaroni from the top layer - which was the most interesting thing about it.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake ($7) was awful. Off-brand vanilla ice cream mixed with at most a handful of cereal bits chopped up in the blender. Could barely taste the cereal and the ice cream tasted like ice milk. Had high hopes for this, too but wow what a disappointment.
Will probably not go back unless I was in a pinch to get an average burger and/or try fried cheese curds. Again,...

My Only regret is not getting the Taylor Ham Jam on everything and not getting a jar of it to take home. Fast friendly service. Plenty of seating. They do special burgers and shakes all the time. Iâd like to go back and try other menu items. Also newly added is 3 crispy chicken sandwiches. Which are all amazing. Original which is pickles and mayo. Sweet Heat which is a house made sauce and coleslaw. Dirty bird which has its signature house made Taylor Ham Jam. Burgers of the month are always crazy and delicious as is everything...
Read moreWith a lot of wonderful reviews and recommendations from friends, we were excited to try this place, especially because we love a good burger! We went in on a Saturday right before the dinner rush and there was only one table occupied and no line. We reviewed the menu and placed our order. My boyfriend added bacon to his burger as a request, we shared fries and a drink and we also shared the fried pickles. The burgers were good, but they did forget the bacon on my boyfriend's burger. I have noticed a trend through reviews that the staff tends to forget quite a lot of items in an order, something I hope they continue to work on. The bacon jam we ordered on the side was delicious though! The fries are lackluster and we were not impressed with their brand of soda at the fountain. Not Coke, not Pepsi, but off brand RC. Maybe we are picky, but nothing rounds out a good burger like a crisp Coke or Pepsi. The place was well lit and ruggedly decorated, but all of the tables were dirty. We cleaned off our own table before getting our food. With a little more practice on not forgetting items in an order, an upgrade on their fries (maybe consider adding some seasoning and cooking just a little longer for a nice crisp) and hopefully an upgrade to their drink variety, this place would be top notch. I would visit again, but would maybe skip out on the...
