The Dairy Maid — Restaurant in Fraser

Today my husband and I tried out dairy maid because we live fairly close and we've always passed and wondered if it would be good. We were actually on our way to Wallys because we are obsessed with that place but we decided to give dairy maid a try. The wait wasn't too long which is obviously always an awesome thing but our interactions with the lady servicing us was not pleasant at all. I asked her a simple question about the dipped flavors offered because I did not see it on the menu and she was very dull and quick to respond. She was frustrated and I don't know why. Sure we gave her the benefit of the doubt because she could just be having a bad day but don't take it out on a customer who is being pleasant and still saying thank you after you continue to be a bit rude. She slammed the window every time she closed it. That was about 4 times and my husband and I were like alright then. We were having such a pleasant evening but that frustrated us a bit. Service is very important to us. The ice cream was okay but since the service was super disappointing I think we're going to stick with Wallys. It might be a little more of a drive but it...

I've been coming to this ice cream shop my entire life. Literally, my grandmother brought me as a child. I'm now 38, and I still come down as often as my love handles will allow. It's the best upside down banana split I've ever had.

The prices are good, and the portions are generious, to say the least. Sizes of the bananna split should be called large, jumbo, and tub of popcorn. It's truly a sight to behold, and I hope they never change it. I've told everyone I know over the years about this glorious cup of dairy bliss.

The workers are always friendly, and I don't ever recall having a bad experience. The only downside is the parking lot is small, and it gets bumping. So, on a busy night you have to wait in line out on Utica road. I'll gladly sit in traffic, the banna split is absolutely worth the wait. I also wish they were open all year round. It is definitely a sad day when they close down...

How should I start is a nice treat to tell my wife "You want a dairy made" I will hop in the car drive a few blocks see some familiar faces and order Maries favorite!! Med"Hawaii Flurry" I get it with two cherrys added my wife loves it loves it that way .The best is I don't get any because I don't realy Like ice cream some times a cool Drink.Heres my point the quality is good its local and the owner and her employees our Fraser people!!
