Pizza Blitz — Restaurant in Frederick

Exemplarily is the word i would use for this quaint and great restaurant. I have been treating my family to food from our location near the Whittier community for nearly 2 decades and it has not missed at all. While I took a break for a few years during the pandemic due to budgetary reasons our family has really had a taste for their pizzas, pastas, calzones and their food is really really good. You can tell the the cooking staff really knows and cares about each dish. Now the front of the house is what really draws you in, the ladies in the front really do an amazing job of making every costumer feel heard and appreciated with great service and such a wonderful attitude and smile. do not go here to sit down and eat! my sister and i came around 5:10pm. the place was empty. right when we walked inside the restaurant, we weren't greeted at all. we waited in front of the door to be seated but not one person approached us. we then went to the register and said we needed a table for two and the girl told us to pick any seat. we sat down at a table and knew our order within two minutes. not one server came to even greet us at the table or offer us to get started with drinks? we waited for twenty minutes and finally it was 5:30 and we had enough. we got up to leave and as we were leaving, we saw the kitchen staff sitting down on the tables watching the tv. never going back here again with such bad management and waiting twenty minutes to even start us off with drinks...

Feeling nostalgic and remembering Pizza Blitz from Westview Shopping Center, I decided to try this place out as a carryout order. (I'm not sure if it's the original owner) A large cheese pizza is expensive compared to similar restaurants. I ordered two LG cheese, one was cold and they looked completely different from each other. The pizza had very little sauce, all I could taste was garlic. Kind of like what you'd expect from a white pizza. My stomach is a little upset from eating these.

It sure didn't taste like the old Pizza Blitz.

I'm really disappointed, I was hoping to find a new place to put in my pizza rotation.
