Poblano Grill — Restaurant in Frederick

After reading through some positive comments we decided to give this place a try this evening. Now I normally don't do reviews but this was such a bad experience I needed to warn others. Now we ordered on the phone for takeout and made it there before our order was done, and waited about 10 minutes. Took all of 10 minutes to get home and was SO disappointed!!!! The horchata tasted like medicine. The shredded beef taco was soaking wet with a soggy sad shell that looked like a shell you get at a fast food place. I dont know what "cheese" is used for the enchiladas but it did not smell or taste good, had to warm them up since they weren't even remotely warm (again my drive home was all of 10 minutes). The bean burrito was also not hot or remotely warm. Even the rice was a let down with zero flavor! The only saving grace was the side of guacamole. Hoping the fried ice cream isn't a let down. Mother’s Day at Poblano Grill was a wonderful experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel special. The festive atmosphere, friendly service, and vibrant decor created the perfect backdrop for a memorable celebration. We started with the grande nachos—crispy, flavorful, and loaded with toppings. Order over the phone they told me 20 minutes. I got there in 25 minutes. Food wasnt ready. They told me 10-15 minutes. 45 minutes later after I'm asking in 15 minute increments they told me the Credit card system is down I need to pay cash. I told them it's covid no body carries cash like that anymore and it's after 1030 at night if you told me an hour ago I could of ask my wife to go get it while I waited I don't have cash. They told me I'm sorry....they didnt even give me the food for free like most businesses would of done if it was there fault for you not getting what you want...
