UPDATE 4: Okay, now they’re just being ridiculous and corporate needs to step in. I placed another order and again walked in and told them I wanted my order “wet”. Still the only WingStop one has to do this. The cashier went back and told those preparing the orders I wanted everything “wet”. They brought my order to me and I checked it before walking out. Many dry areas. There was nothing “wet” about my order. I told them and they again brought me two containers of sauce to put on myself. Go to any other WingStop and you’ll get completely covered chicken without having to ask for “wet”. Look at their website, their advertising, anything corporate puts out to show off their chicken and I dare you to find anything showing dry spots. Their advertisements show completely sauced chicken. Not sure why this location has decided to do their own thing contrary to what every other WingStop does.
Give them a hard pass unless you like dry chicken. Look at my pictures. Nothing has changed. Go to Longmont, 136th and Orchard, Boulder. But do not bother spending your money here.
UPDATE 3: I placed our order in the app just before I arrived. When I arrived, I told the cashier that I wanted it wet. Again, this is the ONLY location you have to tell them this. She told the kitchen staff. When our food was ready, I checked before leaving. Yes, the boneless wings and tenders were covered in sauce and cajun seasoning and the fries had extra cajun seasoning. They got stars back for this. I won’t give them 5 until I don’t have to specify “wet” when ordering. Seriously, who wants un-coated wings from a wing place (like the non-covered chicken in my photos)? Why is completely covered chicken NOT the norm??? I was given a BS excuse on a previous visit, but seriously. Cover your chicken as the norm and make it “dry” if someone wants it “dry”. I guarantee you’ll never get anyone to request a sauced wing or tender to be “dry”.
The cashier was friendly and polite. Staff is still good, just need to completely coat your chicken as the norm.
UPDATE 2: Tried again tonight. Pros: staff were friendly and helpful, food was ready shortly after I arrived, cajun tenders actually had the cajun seasoning this time, and the food tasted good. Cons: ordered extra cajun seasoning on the fries, but it didn’t look extra to me. The cajun tenders were lightly seasoned as well. They seem to want to hold on to as much cajun seasoning as possible. The boneless wings with haunted habanero had dry areas, so nothing has changed there.
I brought up the lack of cajun seasoning and haunted habanero sauce to the cashier, and she did get me sides of them to add myself. Then she said, “next time add ‘wet’ to the instructions and they’ll be covered.” I informed her that’s not an option in the app and double checked myself. Not an option. She insisted it’s there. The only option in the app is for extra cook time. Maybe it’s on the website version. I really want to like this place. Wingstop is my fav wing place, but I don’t want to have to drive to Longmont or 136th to get my order done right the first time.
UPDATE: Tried again today. Staff were still very friendly. HOWEVER, the sauce coverage on the tenders and boneless wings was even worse than it was before. AND, the cajun tenders had NO cajun seasoning on them, just the buffalo hot sauce (which is the base for the cajun seasoning to cling to). Discovered this only after we got home.
Right now, the attitude of the employees I encountered is the best around. Very helpful and positive. Please, please stay this way. It’s the biggest problem with the other Wingstop stores in the area Longmont, Boulder, Orchard, etc. The only thing I have an issue with is the amount of sauce coverage. There shouldn’t be dry spots on the chicken. I’ve come to expect full coating and then some from other Wingstop locations. It’s the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The staff’s attitude went a long way tonight. I’ll be visiting again. Hopefully the staff is still great and the chicken is fully sauced. I’ll change my review...
Read moreFood overall was delicious and good quality, the staff was friendly and took our order no problem, this place is definitely more an “Order ahead” and come pick up kinda location, little dine in options which is fine considering the size of the location and ordering in person will guarantee you quite a long wait time but that’s fine I’ll definitely order ahead next time, only Wing-stop location around so long wait times are fine and expected just...
Read moreMy family ordered from this location for the first time this evening. There was an issue with our order and we waited almost an hour for food that said 13 minutes. They remade it “fresh” the fries were soggy and wings were soggy with little sauce or flavor. The overall experience here was terrible, we will never order here again. Food quality is not...
