Peppy's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Fredericktown

This place was great a few years ago but after today’s visit, we will not be back.

Thh h is afternoon our family of four was caught in a bad storm and ran into the restaurant. It was 4:10’pm and they opened up at 4pm.

We walked in and were not greeted by staff who were behind the counter and in the back kitchen. They saw us but god forbid if someone would actually say, “Hello, welcome in. May we help you? “ We approached the counter to order and an older blond lady looks at us and says, “We won’t be able to get your food to you til after 6pm because we have a 22 pizza order. I said, “Could we just get one pizza and you could make it before the 22 pizza order since we came in. (There was no one else in the restaurant) . She said, “No, we have to do this order first.”

I was shocked, “There was no apology, no “I’m sorry.” While my family and one child who has medical/special needs stood there soak in wet from the storm, this employee had no empathy at all. Just plain and simple…RUDE. Too many other establishments to spend your hard earned money on people who just don’t have etiquette or manners.

First off, why would you even open your restaurants doors if you aren’t taking orders? We wanted to have a nice place to sit down and have ONE PIZZA. Just one pizza!

Shame on you. Do better or lock your doors and just take phone orders.

Seems I probably won't have to look to far beyond Peppys, as it's been the front runner for many years.

Always a pleasant experience. Quick and efficient staff, friendly, and the absolute best pizza!

Great for take out, or dine-in! Typically takes 30minutes or less, inside is very clean and pays homage to the community sports, and high school. There is ample seating, which you cannot find in many local shops, that gives you the opportunity to eat inside comfortably. Prices are reasonable and in line with most pizza places.

I used to love coming here but that all changed from a very poor experience! I called and ordered a small pepperoni calzone and cheesy bread when I got there a guy who I believe was named gavin said I ordered a small pepperoni pizza I told him I wanted a small pepperoni calzone he didnt seem very apologetic about his mistake all I got as a response was "uh sorry dude" I get it mistakes happen but they shouldve done better they said they would make me a calzone real quick but it took forever! Something that shouldve took 20 mins ended up taking 90 mins unacceptable! I'm never coming back I encourage you to take your business...
