I recently visited Attilio's Pizzeria in Freehold, NJ, and overall, it was a decent experience. I ordered a meat lovers pizza to go, and while it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, it was still tasty. The pizza had a generous amount of meat toppings, but the crust was a bit thicker and doughier than I prefer. However, what really stood out to me was the poor customer service. When I arrived, there weren't many customers inside the restaurant, yet the staff seemed disinterested and not very welcoming. When I called ahead to place my order, the person who answered the phone sounded uninterested and didn't seem to want to help me. As someone who values good customer service, this was disappointing. That being said, I do want to acknowledge that this was likely a one-off experience, as Attilio's Pizzeria is typically known for having good customer service. I would be willing to give them another chance in the future and hope that the service will be better. One aspect of Attilio's Pizzeria that I did appreciate was the convenience of getting the pizza to go. The process was quick and easy, which is always a plus. Overall, I would rate Attilio's Pizzeria 4 out of 5 stars. If the customer service had been better during my visit, it would have easily been a 5-star experience. Despite the poor service, the pizza was decent, and I would recommend giving it a try if you're in the area.

I visited NJ then NY for a total of 3 days with an explicit goal to try as much pizza as I could. I started at Attilio's and was blown away at both the quantity and quality of pizza I could get for $5 (2 plain slices). I had a lot of great pizza on the east coast (not as good as Chicago deep dish, sorry) but the clear winner was Attilio's; best slice and best price.

Highly, highly impressed with their gluten free pizza! I have been eating gluten free for almost a year and this is the best one I have had yet. Highly recommended!

So here I was waiting for the call to pay and half hr later this delivery boy came with my order I said I'm sorry I don't have cash im using the card and I've been waiting for your manager to call me back so he called the irresponsible manager and he asked to talk to me to tke card info and said $44.80 I said you told me $40 oh because I didn't know you using card ,so then I said if you were paying attention what I was telling you this confusing would be prevented, I paid ,and on top he asked aren't you add delivery charge? During non-covid times this pizza place has pretty good food. I went in there with my husband to pick up our food and we walked into a building filled with at least 7 customers waiting. The signs outside said no more than 4 customers in at a time. They weren't even monitoring this in fact they were calling more people in from outside. The person making pizza was not wearing a mask. In fact it was hanging around his neck as he made pizzas and other food, put them in and out of the oven etc. my husband clearly in scrubs after leaving work in an emergency room asked if he could please put his mask on. The man making the pizzas said, "are you kidding me?" Rolled his eyes at him, and then put it on. We asked him to cancel our order. I'm not being overly cautious I'm just asking him to follow the laws currently in place. There were 3 other customers outside that also left...
