Went to dinner with wife at 8:15. Giving enough time for their close at 10:00pm We walk in with two tables with guests seated. As soon as we walk into the restaurant one of the female waitress or owner with glasses doesn’t even talk to us. Looks at us and then looks at her watch and walks to the back to talk to a male who seemed liked the owner. He sat us down and took our order nicely. Usually they give bread as soon as you sit down. No bread in sight. Our entrees come and same woman who ignored us delivers the food. Wife asked for bread and she walks away without saying a word. She returns with what looked like bread from the cooler. Cold to the touch. We ignored but I was not happy. Then wife’s tried her dish and her pasta sauce was too tangy and was like tomato paste instead of sauce in her rigatoni. She ate it anyway. Me still pissed at the lady being rude as soon as we walked in and serving us cold bread. I got up and took the bread basket to the counter and asked another girl, do you serve your bread cold? She didn’t answer. She asked would you like me to heat it up? I said yes. Male owner returned with the warm bread. He asked how everything was? I said fine as I knew I was not coming back here ever again. Wife told owner about the sauce. He said he was going to talk to the chef. “What ever that means”. Didn’t offer to remake it or replace the dish. He did apologize about the dish not being to our liking in the end. But in this day and age there is no more customer service. As an owner I would have comped and tried the sauce to win over a customer who might not walk through his or her door ever again. My dish was a bit salty and the coke had too much seltzer. Paying $20 a dish to receive subpar food is not acceptable. I will take my hard earned money somewhere else. I don’t usually write reviews but I was compelled to after this horrible experience. And we left before one of those remaining tables finished. Hope that lady gets a better job and if she is the owner she is going to bring this restaurant to close eventually. Hope the owner reads this and takes action.
