I came here for the first time only because the Perubian place next door “ Las Amazonas” which is excellent was closed “ they close on Tuesday”. I’ve never been there so I asked the lady who helped me if the taco orders where individually meaning 1 taco per order she said yes. So I ordered 2 steak tacos and two carnitas tacos and a sandwich. When I was done she said it’s $61 I though my thats expensive for two tacos but continue to pay thinking well these tacos must be really good that they’re 9.95 per taco when any other places has them for $2.50, the order took forever to come out and when it did she gave me a huge bag so I opened up my order and said to her “ I specifically asked you if I was ordering a single taco per order and you said yes one taco. She said oh no there’s 4 tacos per order. I said well why when I asked you , you said that it was 1 single taco per order. The place was empty so I guess she needed to make up for not having any business today and gave me this large order I did not need. I wanted to leave the entire order but she didn’t seem to want to help in any way so I just walked out. The worst part is When I tried the tacos they had zero taste no sauce to go with it and a lime wedge you could barely squeeze. The food was gross the service was terrible. I wouldn’t waste my money coming here. Oh and by the way I’m fluent in Spanish in fact it’s my first language so there was no language barrier here but simply the lady up selling me on food because the place had zero business that day, I would never come here or recommend this place to any of my friends or family members. Save your money and go next...
Read moreThe food was so delicious that I forgot to capture pictures. The chicken milenese was some of the thinnest and tenderest cutlets I've had in my life. The portion was enough for 2 meals at least. The smoky salsa was unique and delicious. It came in medium and then there was a hotter version . My husband was in love with his birria tacos. They have freshly made aqua frescas as well as horchata! We had the hibiscus and the watermelon...both delicious. The atmosphere is casual. The dining area and counter have a fun and quirky decor. There is a life size day of the dead skeleton dressed in traditional garments that was really cool. I really wish I took pictures because words are not enough. Try...
Read moreThe chicken tacos were incredibly bland. For takeout it's served as 6 soft shells with a pile of borderline unseasoned chicken on top. No pico de gallo, no cheese, no veggies or toppings whatsoever, and just a cup of forgettable salsa on the side.
The pastor burrito was the worst I've ever had in my life. I think the main thing wrong with it was the rice. The rice felt like it was made using the 2 cups of water to one cup of rice trick. No seasoning on the rice either. How is Chipotle better than this place?! Even Bubbakoo's blows this place out of the water! Bubba freaking koo's!!!
This would still be disappointing if it was made in an all-white town in Wyoming, but in...
