We moved to Freeport in January of 2024 and soon discovered Billy's. The spot seems to be a favorite amongst locals and we have since made it tradition to stop by every Friday for a few donuts and kolaches. The staff is great and freidnly. The donuts are amazing, super soft and fresh. The kolaches are great. Just the right amount of sweet for the bread to go along with the real texas sausage. Blows shipleys out of the water if you ask me. Overall a great place and hope it is around for many many more years!

I absolutely love the croissants here and have not been able to find anywhere else that makes them like this. The homeaid croissant bread is so flakey you will have flakes all over your shirt after you eat it. The ham is not the thick cut actual ham but instead thin sliced with the ooey gooey swiss cheese in the middle. YUMM. We make a point to go to Freeport from Houston at least once a month for these.

I ordered country boy sausage after being assured twice that they didn't have cheese. I ripped the bread open to verify there was no cheese before eating. After two bites I realized the sausage had cheese in it. I went back to complain and they said it must have been the sausage factories fault but they're obviously serving food before any type of inspection. Complacency in the food industry is completely unacceptable. Now I'm going to be sick for a day or two due to a...

Definitely worth the drive from Surfside. The lady working the counter was SO nice, the glazed donuts were amazing, and the kolaches were great too (definitely better than Shipley's). There was a surprisingly large variety of coffee and donuts alike. The front of house is very clean and they have a nice chalkboard menu to order from. The coffee is very sweet so order accordingly of the donuts alone are enough...
